Can thread on Afghanistan be opened?

I can not PM anyone and since some posters have asked some questions in that thread which can be answered there only as the issues raised do not deserve a separate thread of their own. @TrueSpirit1 asked me regarding my claims on veil and honor related status in Pre Islamic India and @Virendra on Shivraj Singh.
Can the thread be reopened?

I believe it can be, subject to certain pre-conditions.

As long as we do not:

1) stray/divert from the topic
2) indulge in ad-hominem,
3) present sub-par, poor quality arguments
4) label each other as Paki, Paki-sympathizer, confused
5) indulge in regional & caste-ist chauvinism &
6) go ballistic while arguing.

But Veil, honour and Shivraj Singh have nothing top do with Afghanistan ?

Yes, Shivraj Singh Chauhan indeed is a proud OBC (as declared by GOI).... but he is Chauhan, all right.
OBC status in India is absolutely political measure and does not reflect on the true status of any Caste Group.
Are Jats really OBCs? They have been destined now to be OBCs.
Are Scindia (shinde) of Gwalior Marathas or SC?
Were Mauryas and Guptas of the great Fame Rajputs ?
Was Shivaji a Chatriya ?

All these questions do not throw any light on history and do not prove anything..

2, 3,4 are points which can never be attributed to me. Anyone can check that I am restrained in face of heat directed at me.
