What is your point?

God help us! It is alarming to see the number of commies who are cropping up. God save the nation if this mentality continues. :frusty:
The Problem is in our education system.,. Nothing is wrong with our country. They make people blind. The scope is very narrow and limited. Child is left thinking that every thing that Govt. is doing is BAD & Blah blah blah...People have very less financial literacy in India. They don't know that the FDI was the reason that has proliferated the PRC GDP. They don't damn think about the reasons. Around 60% of the FDI in China is FDI(outward) .This helps in protecting the domestic market and building Foreign reserve ,the FDI (Inward) helps in creating the domestic Infrastructure and jobs. The net result is increased GDP and greater Labor force. There are many benefits. The "negative list" is prepared to protect the domestic market from Unfair Market Practices and Monopoly. CCI is there to regulate fair competition. People are fearing without knowing anything.Wait for 10 more years and we will see the result of FDI and New Industrial and Manufacturing Policy. :frusty:

Re: Cabinet allows 49% FDI in Insurance, & Pension sector

I think the pension is also 49% not 26%

Overall good move, although there is doubts about the merits of the move, it will no doubt bring in more foreign capital. And importantly it would reinforce the belief that the reforms announced earlier were not a flash in the pan and more reforms are likely. Let's hope the BJP backs this.
Buddy, since how long India is waiting for such reforms? since 47?

Wait little more, after 2014, we will see much more reforms anyway.

They will be at much faster pace and do much more good to this nation.

Not like do scams first and cover it up with some reforms later on.

If I am not mistaken the 2 FDI proposals should get a nod in the parl if SP and BSP are both on board, please confirm. Numbers should work out in favour of the government irrespective to BJP's support or not.
Yeah, better hurry up, next general elections are not that far now aur pata nahi! Dynasty khatre main hai.

Modi aa raha hai.

So let's prove our selves much better than even Modi.

Anyway, long long time in coming, but it's never too late.
:hail: Very sad but true.

Congress was responsible for it, anyway.

If so, then what about pension for private sector?

It will be fine though, if they can provide it.

Govt Pension interst rates are never in tune with market rates. It's always higher.

Even if a foreign firm comes into pension it will not be able to compete with Indian govt.

The perverse thing will be the western financial institutions will make gullible Indians pledge their gold for pension. What a loosing proposition for Indian people. West is already short of gold and unlike British Empire they cannot loot Indian gold as they did in 1890's.

One thing is certain, the politicians are not on the side of the common man. This is applicable to all the political parties.

Indian pensions system is children caring for their parents. It works and its humane. The west has a ticking time bomb of funding shortage for pensions and its getting worse. All parents KICK their children out as soon as they turn 16. The parents also keep their new born babies in a different room unlike in most of the world where a baby is naturally at the side of the mother. Thats even true for the animal kingdom. No wonder why people in west do not wish to live at home and leave as soon as they can. They know that the state will care for them. But this is soon turning into a mirage.

Pensions system devised with western ideas wont work in India.
Once the economy decimates in a couple of years, all these bull shit ideas will be flushed down the toilet.

You got to live in the west to see how sad the lives of the people here is.

My friend :), what I want to say is if a government employ need a pension then a private employ may need it too, isn't it?

So there should be something for them too.

Nothing else.
