    A friend of mine from Japan told me that in WWII Germany and Japan agreed to extend their conquests until they each had reached Burma.

    ha ha ha -
    well burma in WW-2 had the record of the most expensive engineering project which became obsolete by the time it was ready - the infamous "Burma Road" - it led from India through burma into China. India should invest in the upgradation of that road - will bring trade routes into the Northeast.
