BANGALORE: BJP's former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa , battling a dozen cases of corruption, on Friday indicated leaving the party but would decide on the step only in December.
With Bharatiya Janata Party central leaders rejecting his bid to become chief minister again or to be made state party chief, the scandals-scarred Yeddyurappa told reporters here that he felt "suffocated" in the party.
He said he was "waiting for an opportune time" to decide his future and would take a decisionby December end.
Asked why he was waiting so long, Yeddyurappa, who quit July last year over mining bribery charges, said he did not want to rock the Jagadish Shettar government, the third BJP regimein just over four years of is first rule in the state.
The former chief minister said since he quit the post he had been "working not only a ruling party member and also as opposition party member" and claimed credit for several measures the Shettar government has announced aftercoming to power in July this year.

He had made a statement few months ago on how Congress and Sonia madam protect their leaders unlike BJP that has left him to face corruption cases. He should join Congress as that is the ideal political org for him... :). His corruption will be a pittance to the lakhs of crores that Congis have looted.

Good for BJP in long term, his kind of blackmailer leaders are always harmful. Actually he should be kicked out just before he announces his exit , then we should see who acquires him !!
