According to a report in The Indian Express, nineteen-year-old Sunil Vishwakarma was detained on Wednesday. He had apparently written something on his Facebook page which did not go down well with the supporters of the MNS chief. Sunil is a resident of Palghar, the town from where the two girls hailed. Shiv Sena has called a bandh in Palghar today.

Protesting against the post a large section of MNS workers gathered outside Vishwakarma's house and subsequently took him to Plaghar police station.

However, Sunil has not been slapped with any charges as yet because the police are seeking legal advice before taking any hasty decision.

The arrest of the two girls on November 17 for protesting shutdown in Mumbai for Balasaheb’s state funeral and the massive uproar that it generated later on must be fresh in the minds of the custodians of the law.

The two policemen who arrested the girls have been suspended. Let the cops remember that. If anything, it is the MNS workers who should be arrested.

It is very dangerous if these things become commonplace. I hope the police takes strict action against Shiv Sena and MNS workers who do such things. Free speech is something we all cherish, and there is no way we should allow this to go on. Organizations like Shiv Sena and MNS actually have no place in 2012 India. Their utility died out in the 1990s. It is time these organizations changed from within, and disband their extreme fringes.

    Excellent.

Kejriwal now has precedence to take all he accuses to the Police Station and then someone will take him to the Police Station too!

    What a circus!

Has the Govt abdicated their responsibility and outsourced it to all and sundry to save on money?

    Possible.

MMS says we are back to 1991.

Hell, we have to save money!
