I know of no other ethnic group which so much resents their countrymen who have come to America than Indians, as I have seen here on DFI. The fact is, economic costs are associated with not assimilating.
No one resents them for 'assimilating', it is expected of them, this is one trait which separates Indians from other nationalities. The issue here is, after assimilation, these people act as willing instruments to foreign organizations who have visible interst in maligning India ()not talking about Jindal here, but the other guys mentioned in the post you quoted).

After what most white conservatives feel is their experience with a non white President, the odds are stacked heavily against another non white to become the US President.
Jindal is very popular with white conservatives. They will vote for him if he win the GOP primary. Winning the GOP primary will win the White House. Jindal have been hitting Obama a lot and conservatives loves that. However the favorite will be Rick Perry, Ted Cruz, and Rand Paul. If Jindal does not run or win the GOP primary he has a good chance of getting the VP slot or a post in the WH.

Louisiana is a very white conservatives state and he won the governorship twice. So the white support is there.

Louisiana is the third poorest State of the US, coming ahead of Mississippi and District of Columbia.

He is of course a crafty politicians. He knows and realises who will bankroll his elections, and so he works for them to the disadvantage of the others.

Here it is:
You have to put it in context. Poor is different in the USA than what the world is use too.

Sir, what bad experiences are you referring to? I thought that americans were happy about Obama's economic reforms.
No one is happy with Obama. Not even his own party. In fact he probably destroy the Democratic Party for generations. Americans view him as weak and not up to the task.

Americans politics is very brutal. If you can survive American politics you can survive anywhere. You need a really really thick skin because everyone will attack you including your own friends.

To understand American politics trying going to Drudge Report. It is a site that post news from different news sources.

People supporting/fawning at booby jindal types should really develop some self respect. These guys are not Indian americans or any type of "Indians" for you all to be proud about/happy about. You dont see Africans bursting crackers to see Barack Obama becoming the president now do you?

It is obvious that when the word 'poor' is being used, it is in the US context.

Jeb Bush not going to get elected. Americans don't like dynasty especially in politics. Two Bush and one Clinton is more than enough.
