This is what I don't appreciate from the BJP.. They have kept waiting for the congress for the first move so that it could adjust its own position. Never been proactive.

Even in the prez polls, it waited and waited. Advani wanted to contest. If his name was announced, may be the prez poll would have looked different and all of NDA would have been behind the BJP.

RAJKOT: BJP today dared Congress to announce its Prime Ministerial candidate ahead of the next general elections.

To a query from a reporter here as to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi's chances of becoming the BJP candidate for the PM's post, the party's general secretary Ananth Kumar said: "BJP has several persons who can become PM. What does Congress have? Congress has no names. It should first announce its candidate, BJP would announce its candidate at the time of the general elections."

Kumar was here to take part in the party's campaign against the Centre-appointed interlocutors' report on Kashmir issue.

He also targeted Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over his recent foreign tours, saying that the Prime Minister was "invisible" here and visible only abroad.

Four "economists", namely, Dr Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram, Pranab Mukherjee and Montek Singh Ahluwalia had ruined the economy, Kumar said.

"Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said that government will announce certain measures to improve the country's economy, which is unfortunate...after being in power for over seven years, UPA leaders have realised that economy has become weak."

He also alleged that Centre was doing injustice to Gujarat, especially with regard to CNG quota.

Actually, It's good move because Congress can never give it's candidate for PM. If in case, they chose MMS or RahulG, Then even if BJP fields any candidate. There will be no comparison!

Any BJP candidate, whether NaMo, SS, NG, AJ will get be in advantage compare to any Congress PM candidate.

Congress doesn't have any good PM candidate left. MMS and now Pranab are gone case. RahulG is not feasible. PC is involved in corruption. It's like Hoping against the hope.

BJP gave this statement, So that Congress give some possibility of names which will make Congress a laughing stock.

    Advani was never feasible.

Even if whole NDA supported, He cannot win. NDA combiend vote share is just 28% compare to UPA-2 with 50%. That would be embarrassed for LKA. When you can't win, you have to chose candidate for different purpose.

Sangma is BJD+AIADMK candidate and BJP supporting it. Still, He will lose but at least some possibility to improve relation with BJD/AIADMK and NE MP's is quite possible.

They are originally a political party of small time traders.

Have you ever seen a businessman naming the price of a product first?

He merely suggests in an airy fairy way and then drives a hard bargain!

Likewise, all the brouhaha over Modi these days and finally who knows who will surface.

    Dana phenkna.

Congress has also never announced its candidate since it was a fact that the Nehru Gandhi alone knew how to rule. These days the Nehru Gandhis don't have the personality to have an universal acceptance and so they hedge.

But in the final analysis, it has to be one of them.

How long will the patience of the Nehru Gandhi run?

Have we not seen enough of those who warm the bench while players are out in the field and 'invisible' remote controlling?

Steal the march on congress. Announce now. But the BJP is not or will not because of their own internal squabbles. This is what troubles me.

Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.

Nothing troubles me more than the deceit that is called Indian politics!

They have no agenda or concern, except the privileges and pelf of office!

those who want to become PM should first read Constitution and understand it before trying to run the country.
