    Otherwise Corona, Cobra, Haywards Black in following order of preference.

    Corona(a bit tough to find it here), haywards black (not that easy to find it luckily the theka near my place stores it, finished my second can), ya, could not agree more, good beers.

    Danny the film actor also owns a brewery in Sikkim that produces some fine beers.. I wonder if this is the one ?

    Kalyani Green Bottle, I hear that the Suns rays passing to the green tinted bottle makes it taste better. Any truth? ;)

    You are absolutely right Singhji Yuksom Breweries Ltd. belongs to the film actor Danny Denzongpa. among the export products of Yuksom Breweries Ltd. are Himalayan Blue and the Yeti beer.

    dunno.. lal toofan and taj mahal are supposed to be the best Indian beers .. but they are tough to source..

    anyone had Godfather and Thunderbolt.. man they hit me more than absinthe.. :sharabi:

    I thought i will let the australia educated crop have some say....
    crap none the less is still crap.
    Most good beers are tough to get, generally all you get is Kingfisher and haywards (lager and superstrong).

    Amazing story about Godfather, Last summer i was driving to Dheradun, real hot and i had a maruti 800 with a crappy AC, then i saw this road side theka cum bar with a huge f-ing board advertising Chid Beer, i thought to myself what the f can one beer do beside relaxing me besides its just a child beer :blum3:
    They only had godfather and i gulped down 2 of em, after that it i was driving that old little car @100km/hr all the way.
    That sounds good enough reason for a trip to sikkim, seems like a fun place.
