BDL gets Rs 3,000 cr contract for anti-tank Invar missiles - Firstpost

INVAR Anti Tank missiles
I wonder how much TOT (if ANY) would we actually get out of this deal. BDL in all likelihood will probably import the parts/ components & assemble them here. BDL infact seems to be quite comfortable in simply assembling missile from CKD kits. Also, I read sometime back that the Army was forced to use older version of the Milan Anti-tank missiles as BDLwasn't technologically ready to manufacture the more sophisticated/ latest versions (not sure how much of it's still relevant).
