Wahhabi money. Kiev-regime might not have an option. This is what the "European Choice" has resulted into. How's EuroMaidown coming along?
You decided to spoil? Two An-148 was sold to North Korea. There are people from heavy machine guns shot. The bad money too? Money does not smell.

Those two An-148 were made from the remaining scrap spare parts that the Russians left?

Antonov An-225 Mriya: World's largest plane touches down in Perth

The Antonov An-225 Mriya, which weighs up to a whopping 600 tonnes, landed shortly before 12:00pm local time on Sunday.

Crowds gathered at the Perth Airport, waiting patiently for the plane's arrival after it was delayed by almost two hours, while one of the city's major arterial roads - the Tonkin Highway - was snarled with heavy traffic in the lead-up to the event.

The plane is used to transport massive cargo around the world — in this instance a 117-tonne generator it is carrying from Prague.

According to Aviation WA president David Eyre, it is the longest and heaviest aircraft ever built, as well as boasting the largest wingspan of any aircraft in operational service.

"It is the first time it's come to Australia, so it's a big event for all aviation enthusiasts around Australia," Mr Eyre said.

@pmaitra requires that the An-225 was transferred to Russia. Probably in the ' 90s he participated in the negotiations on the division of Soviet property.o_O Russia did not even want to buy a second copy. She never wanted this giant.

P.S. Let not confuse the lack of wings and keel. They are just stored separately. The willingness of the second bead -70%.

I see people comparing the height of the airplanes. The Antonov-225 loses out on height, because, it was meant to carry the Buran on its back. The wake of the payload would have obstructed air flow on the vertical rudder. Thus, it was replaced with two smaller rudders on two sides, thus reducing the height.

Many other airplanes have this to reduce the overall height of the plane, so that they can fit in hangars.

In "Antonov" admit that in Ukraine can be built the second Mriya
Vice-President of "Antonov" Alexander Kotsyuba made the production of the second aircraft An-225 "Mriya".

"It is technically possible. We have everything to build the airframe - fuselage, wing, empennage. But to build a second An-225 will require significant resources. The appearance of "Mriya" will not change, but from the point of view of technology and engineering this is a completely different aircraft with the latest equipment and engines," said Kotsyuba.

"Mriya" is interesting not only as a unique commercial carrier. This plane will decorate the image of any country. But for one company, such amounts are prohibitively high. We see it as some kind of interstate project", – said the first Vice-President of "Antonov".

According to him, the creation and launch of the An-225 in production is estimated at 3-4 billion dollars.

"The lion's share of the cost is pre-production, production tooling, procurement of equipment, certification and issue of design documentation," - said Kotsyuba.

He explained that with China, "have some interest" in buying a new An-225.

"For them, this amount is quite lifting. But while it is at the level of discussions," said Kotsyuba, noting that no time frame to build the second instance of "Mriya" no.

An-225 Mriya is the largest and most powerful in the world transport aircraft created by the Kiev Design Bureau named after Antonov in the late 80-ies of the last century.

Russia can do it. Almost bankrupt Kiev Regime cannot.

There is another good news. Oil prices are beginning to rise.
Without any technical documentation it will not build.

Farnborough 2016: An-178 makes Farnborough debut
Charles Forrester, Farnborough - IHS Jane's Defence Weekly
11 July 2016

The Antonov An-178 has made its first appearance at the Farnborough International Airshow 2016, as efforts by the manufacturer increase to broaden the aircraft's international market appeal.

The aircraft made its first debut at a Western airshow at the 2015 Paris Air Show, and was also displayed at the ILA show in Berlin in June 2016.

First revealed in 2010, the An-178 is a variant of the company's An-158 regional jet which features a rear-loading ramp. According to IHS Jane's All The World's Aircraft: Development & Production , the An-178's cargo hold measures 16.65 m including ramp, or 12.85 m excluding ramp; 2.745 m width at the floor and a height of 2.75 m; and a floor area of 40 m 2 and a hold volume of 125 m 3 (both including the ramp). Its wingspan is 28.84 m, it is 32.95 m in length, and 10.14 m tall. The aircraft has a maximum payload of 18 tonnes and a range of 1,000 km fully loaded. Its cruise speed is 445 kt and the aircraft requires a 2,500 m runway for operations.

The aircraft's launch customer is Azerbaijani cargo carrier Silkway Airlines, with the Azerbaijani government reportedly paying advances for two aircraft in July. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2018, with a further eight on order. In early June, the Azerbaijani government announced that it intended to undertake some assembly work in-country on the aircraft.

Saudi Arabia has also signed a Memorandum of Delivery with Antonov for 30 An-178 aircraft, as part of the growing links between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine. In addition to the aircraft purchase, Saudi Arabia's Taqnia and Antonov are developing a modernised An-32 'Curl', known as the An-132D. The An-132D is to feature a number of Western systems, including Pratt & Whitney engines, avionics, and propellers.

Aerospace Industry Corporation of China (AICC) in cooperation with "Antonov" will complete the second copy of the An-225. After this, the aircraft will become their property.

It is good to have a second copy of the Antonov-225. The only thing that makes me uneasy is that it will become the property of PRC. This plane was the pride of the Soviet Union. I hope Russia has the blue-prints of this plane, and is able to make the Antonov-225 in Russia without any kind of assistance from the Kiev regime.

That is nice. Now buy it for some billion dollar and stop importing any plane from US. Make them in new Indian owned felicity in Ukraine.
