At least 11 killed, several injured in Quetta blast

QUETTA: At least 11 people were killed and 18 others injured in a blast at Dukani Baba Chowk area of Sariab Road in Quetta on Monday.

DSP Sariab Mohammad Naeem said explosives were planted in a bus on its way from the main bazaar to Sariab road.

“Eleven people were killed and 18 others sustained injures,” DSP Mohammad Naeem told The Express Tribune, adding they were investigating the nature of the blast.

Reports suggest the victims were returning from work when the explosion took place.
