That man isn't Indonesian. In fact he's the 2nd son of Chiang Kai-Shek (President of ROC) - Chiang Wei Kwo (Jiang Wei-Guo)

Before WW2 broke out, China had an intimate relationship with Nazi Germany. Chiang's 2nd son attended a military school in Germany. Of course later China and Germany broke ranks after China rejected German ambassador's offer to mediate Sino-Japan war.

They are part of Azad hind fauj and these men were a small part of Wehrmacht army reserved units, And Rest were transported to Indo-China..
