Army Chief Visits Northern Command

General VK Singh PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) accompanied by Air Marshal DC Kumaria, AOC-in-C Western Air Command and Lt Gen AK Chowdhary, Dir Gen Mil Ops (DGMO) arrived at Technical Air port Jammu today. They were received by Gp Capt M Giridhar, Offg AOC, AF Stn Jammu, Maj Gen BK Dhingra, MGGS SD, HQ Northern Command and Maj Gen Surinder Singh, GOC Tiger Divsion. After arrival, they were flown to HQ Northern Command.

On arrival at Udhampur, the Army Chief was received by Lt Gen KT Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM, GOC-in-C Northern Command. The General was briefed on all security issues by Army Commander Northern Command. Later, they reviewed the situation in the Northern Command Theatre.
