FC-1 or JF-17, different designations for the same aircraft. Being one of the major partners of joint project, Pakistan is entitled to share the revenue.
equal share of profit.

gift from china?why are indians so good at joking?

we will pay them.

we will get half the share of revenue.as per some sources pakistan funded more than 60% of the total development cost.
as per the image above they will get the JFT 2 with fixed IFR and french avionics/mica
Farhran u said as per some sources Paki's r funding 50% - 60% of the project of JF 17 can u stop talking out of thin air n show us FUNNY Indians the proof regarding the claim that u have made I believe every time u speak u don't have anything solid proof to back u up

Orders from other coutries are gonna prove the feasibility of the continuing development of FC-1, and with more fund we are getting from the sale, the process of upgrading FC-1 is very likely to be fastened.

It's a good news for both China and Pakistan.

how good are the relations between argentina and france?are they good
@fart-han, Argentina doesn't have the money to buy Junk Fighter, much less French fighter. Inflation is 24%.

China does not have to order any FC-1 to prove the aircraft to be a success. Being designed and developed without taking PLAAF's needs into consideration, FC-1 was specifically meant for international market at the very beginning.

So if the Russians say no to this deal, there is nothing what China and Pak can do.

I think China has a in-principle agreement with Russia for re-export of RD-93 engines to 10-12 countries.

First of all i really doubt the export variant will have anything other than ws-13a(100kn thrust)

even though if the engine is not mature.klimov is ready to export more than 400 rd-93.and ofcourse pakistan never is gonna order 400 JF-17 on its own alone

Take-off Magazine : RD-33: output on the rise

Military engines: Russia

Finally, the RD-93, a RD-33 derivative with the low-mounted accessory gearbox, is exported to China to fit FC-1 (JF-17) light single-engine fighters. The deal for 100 RD-93s with an option for 400 more was clinched in April 2005. The first 15 engines were assembled by Klimov, and Chernyshev has handled the rest of the deliveries since 2006. The contract is half-complete, and the deliveries shall resume as soon as the customer submits its request.

he's indian.i can recoginize a indian in trillions.

Other than this rafale took more than a decade to find a customer which again initially the rafale was rejected by IAF in 2009.later the bribe lobby made it to win.

while the fighter he calls him junk is produced already in 50 numbers(60 for rafale) and future is much more bright.

the hope of JFT being produced in more than 600-800numbers is possibly to become true

It would be interesting to note the numbers procured along with configuration.

Argentina has reasons to avoid the West for their military needs.

Re: Argentine officials confirm joint-production talks over China's FC

regarding the fc-1 sale to Argentina,
even though fc-1 is a plane which is stop gap measure cost effective one with no ambiguity regarding it,what is pushing Argentina to enter joint production venture with "china" for buying a plane which offers no superior edge to them in their current military environment except to plug in the gaps

chineese diplomacy???:cool2::thumb:

who else will be interested in such a plane, in joint production with a limited scope of development and which will become a vintage generation in 2 decades & also leaving huge doubts about the engine supply

Argentina a country with arguably good, friendly south american nation and limited military conflicts i seriously doubt this joint co-production statement a PR stunt by the would be beneficial parties to advertise

by the way what is its current cost

do you think engines are ordered at 1:1 basis with planes.they are always ordered more as to keep as spares and service life of a jet engine is less on comparison to jet

Re: Argentine officials confirm joint-production talks over China's FC

where he says they will give you half share of profits ??

plus they are buying manufacturing line, so PAF wont be of much help to them.
@farhan

in the above interview mr. khalid is saying that they flew with rd-93 for 7000hours:shocked:that too with out problem:shocked:
the rd-93 what i heard has a service life of 4000 mere hours only contradictory to your claim or is Pakistan using another variant

please don't tell that Pakistan has technology to increase service life of jet engines
