Anti-submarine warfare options for Indian Navy

    The most important job of Navy is to protect country's maritime trade, as lack of raw materials can cripple functioning of industry, and thereby cripple war effort.

    India's traditional adversaries have focussed on building large submarine forces, and have significant sea-denial capability.

    Sea denial is targeted mostly against goods carrying ships, though naval ships are included in the targets.

    I invite a thoughtful discussion on Indian Navy's ASW capability.
