The veteran Gandhian crusader, Anna Hazare invited the Army Chief General VK Singh to join his movement against corruption after his retirement. The Army chief is retiring this month.
Hazare, who is now touring Maharashtra to garner support for a stronger Lokayukta Bill in

Maharashtra, was in Chandrapur. He said, “We will welcome the Army Chief in our movement against corruption if he joins us after his retirement.”
Gen Singh is considered to be an honest person and in the recent past has prompted the government to act fast on modernizing the Army. He has also highlighted corruption within the Army.

While interacting with media persons in Chandrapur, the Gandhian crusader said that he was in army and fought against the enemies. “ Now we have to fight with enemies in our home. This fight is more important than that one and if General (Army chief Singh) joins us in the movement, we will welcome him,” he added. The anti-graft activist pointed out that the campaign needed more like-minded people to carry forward the movement. It would be his (General Singh) choice if he wants to join us in our movement after the retirement.

He said that there are so many problems in the country and one Anna Hazare is not enough to resolve all of them. Country need many Annas and righteous people have to come forward to assume his role.

Anna claimed that there are charges of corruption and criminal intimidation against as many as 163 MPs and 14 union ministers. “We have sent letters to concerned, seeking explanation. If they fail to clarify, I will once again take up a nationwide agitation against them,” he warned.

Addressing a public meeting, Hazare appealed to people to teach a lesson to the UPA-led Congress government in the ensuing general elections for betraying with the people for not bringing a strong Lokpal Bill in Parliament.

So VK Singh now has the Anna Certificate of non-corruptible.

VK Singh should stay away from Jholachaap doctors of corruption.

Anna movement has lost steam, and no longer enjoys mass support it once used to... General should stay away... it would be an insult if he happens to share dais with that traitor Prashant Bhushan.
