NK wont last. Sooner or later it will collapse. CCP cannot last forever and when CCP shuts down so will NK.
NK is key to CCP's survival they will keep them propped up as
long as possible.Even a poor China propped up NK by providing
75% of food and money necessary.

Earlier NK was key to CCP survival, now CCP is key to NK survival and CCP wont survive for too long. The Chinese are waking up, even if very slowly.

Mao was willing to exterminate millions of his people the same
mentality still exists today but probably to a lesser extreme but
expendability still remains.

if not backed by powerful nations, philippines and vietnam will end up having their hands burned.
moreover anticipation of involvement of bigger navies into this issue will make china act cautiously

By your counter logic, Hainon island should belong to India, as should Hong Kong, Macau, and indeed Tibet. Heck, the whole of China should belong to India.

Hench that proves out that the distance doesn't really matter at all.

I don't know why people intended to believe China is the only one vulnerable in anything, but I think China is the only one in this territory fought with every major power or even UN in the past. If leaders of any country miss that in their calculation, it would be like committing a crime to the people in the country

As pointer earlier by LethalForce, the Chinese people are expendable, as far as CCP is concerned. They have committed more crimes on the Chinese people than any foreign power. So they have experience/history on their side!

As far as every Chinese concern, we really are expendable when talking about protecting chinese land, that is why after CCP expended so many Chinese in those war, it still ruling.
And regarding the possibility that China open fire in south China sea and what might be consequences, you can refer to 2 skirmishes between China and vietnam around there, one was in 1974, another in 1988.

CCP's genocide was not to protect Chinese land, it was to protect itself! It doesnt matter what the concerns of the Chinese are. You don't have a choice!

I am one of those who actually hoping that Chinese do something stupid like that! Loosing a battle in the South China Sea actually helps our cause in the long term, for the War!

Of course China is the aggressor, lets take the current incident in isolation as I dont have time to respond in detail on every incident to you mindless trolling.

The island in question is 200 KM from the philippine coast. It is over 1000KM from China. You claim over the island is that someone from the mainland use to fish there for centuries. like someone from philippines did not? then you provoke the philipinos by sending fishermen and naval ships to the islands. how do you not see that as aggression?
pls check the sea border between Greece and turkey.

obviously, either CHina or Phillpines doesn't want to shoot the first bullet.

so, it becomes a contest between non-military vessels..

with a much bigger marine surveilance vessels , CHina obviously gains the upper hand .

PH pulls out warship from Scarborough

by Jason Gutierrez, AFP

Posted at 04/12/2012 3:18 PM | Updated as of 04/12/2012 3:41 PM

MANILA (1st UPDATE) - The Philippines said Thursday it had pulled its biggest warship out of a standoff with Chinese vessels, but the impasse was not resolved with China sending a third ship to the disputed waters.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario would not why say the Philippines had pulled out the navy ship, which had been stationed near a tiny set of islands in the South China Sea since Sunday in an effort to arrest Chinese fishermen caught fishing there.

"That is an operational undertaking I can't discuss with you," he said.

The pullout means the Philippines is left with a coast guard search and rescue boat as its only presence in the disputed waters.

Meanwhile, Del Rosario said a third Chinese maritime vessel had arrived to back up the two Chinese surveillance ships that had been there since Tuesday.

The Chinese vessels had been blocking the Philippine plan to arrest the fishermen.

"There are three ships there now. Three white ships. The third ship arrived today, this morning, I understand. It's a Bureau of Fisheries Chinese civilian ship," he said.

Asked whether the Philippine government was alarmed at the extra Chinese presence, he said: "Well, we are watching developments and, at the same time, we are pursuing the diplomatic track in terms of coming to a resolution on the issue."

He said the Chinese ambassador to Manila, Ma Keqing, had not informed him that China was sending an additional ship, despite negotiating with her to try and resolve the issue.

looks like the Chicoms won the stand-off. But yet again they lose hearts and minds. Fine by us, more rope to hang themselves with later.
