Ancient era in India ended in the 6th century AD

The Helmet probably belongs to the late medieval (1600s) or modern era 1700s

Shot from the Golden Temple Exhibition in SOAS, London. The picture shows
an 18th century armour worn by Sikh warriors. The exhibition is finishing
at the end of September 2011.
