    Note:
    1. Liberal Democratic Party of Russia : Since its founding in 1991, it has been led by the charismatic and controversial figure Vladimir Zhirinovsky. Opposing both communism and the "wild" capitalism of the 1990s, the party scored a major success in the 1993 Russian Duma elections, receiving a plurality vote.
Despite the party's name, it is frequently described as "neither liberal nor democratic."[7] While the party describes itself as centrist and reformist, it is usually regarded as far-right and is identified with Russian ultranationalism, right-wing populism (or "national populism") and conservativism.[8][9][10] Its ideology is based primarily on Zhirinovsky's ideas of "imperial reconquest" (a "renewed Russian Empire")[11] and authoritarian vision of a 'Greater Russia.'"[10][12]

In Finland Lenin is considered almost a national hero, for that gave independence to this country!

I cannot believe that will happen. I am a staunch-anti-communist and I would not want to see that happen.

I once stayed up all night to read Lenin's biography. His life was amazing.

The only remaining monument of Stalin, located in the city of Gori (Georgia). This is the town where he was born.

P.S. Here he is for science did not do anything! He was just a - a tyrant. In the USA in universities until now study a Marxist-Leninist economics, and we have 20 years she was "blotted" out, as science. Only now began again to revive.

Peter I, too, like Stalin, kept Russia ahead into the lead through ten of thousands of lives.

Stalin, too, can not be deleted from the history books. And he made a lot of positive (under his the guidance of the USSR won the war). But he is not worthy of massive monuments for the other sins!

Thats like saying remove the images of founding fathers of usa because some of them owned black slaves and are thus "controversial figures".

That's not abt monuments but also abt how the history is dealt with.

In Taiwan, when DPP won the election many monuments / statues of Chiang, Kai-shek were also removed. Then Taoyuan County of Taiwan collected, and asked for the monuments and put all of them in a park near his tomb.

To some he was a dictator, to some he was a hero. Anyway he's part of the history as all agree upon.

I think every city and town in the USA should have a statue of Obama. As time passes, people will blame him for their economic condition, not Bush.
