There is no option but to use diesel in that case. Although if similar law is implemented in Delhi/Mumbai for personal cars I would stand by it.What about heavy hauling?

How long does it take to fully charge an electric car the size, capacity, and range of, say a Citroën C5 Tourer?Personally I like the French plan better. Subsidize discounts for electric vehicles and spend money installing charging stations. It doesn't really require new infrastructure.
I have a Fluence ZE that charges in 8 hrs overnight or 30 minutes at the quick charge stations. We recently got the battery swap at Better Place that takes 3 minutes. How long does it take to fully charge an electric car the size, capacity, and range of, say a Citroën C5 Tourer?
With this quick charge how many Kms does the car run.I have a Fluence ZE that charges in 8 hrs overnight or 30 minutes at the quick charge stations. We recently got the battery swap at Better Place that takes 3 minutes.
It costs €4 for a quick charge.
It sure beats paying €2-per-litre for 13km of the petrol version of the Fluence.50 KM/€ is very good and economical
Of course it cannot. This is one of the reasons, why this judgment will be overturned by the SC. Some parts maybe implemented.Armand2REP, can your car haul a 2000 lb trailer/caravan?
Easily... she has 226 torque.Armand2REP, can your car haul a 2000 lb trailer/caravan?
226 torque? What does that even mean?Easily... she has 226 torque.
"¨"¨"©VAT isn't the issue here, states get CNG supply from central govt at different rates according to pollution level of cities.A'bad has same level of pollution as delhi, mumbai but central govt provides to a'bad at higher rate than others. And a petition was filled for it and HC directed central govt for it.I would love to see congi morons' faces after this ruling.@VIP, maybe the rates for VAT in Delhi and Gujarat need to be checked. In Delhi initially the tax on CNG was 2%, slowly the Government has tried to increase it in the last budget but due to large scale protests even from the Congress MLAs the idea was dropped.
anybody read about peak oil?
WikiLeaks cables: Saudi Arabia cannot pump enough oil to keep a lid on prices | Business | The Guardian
The cables, released by WikiLeaks, urge Washington to take seriously a warning from a senior Saudi government oil executive that the kingdom's crude oil reserves may have been overstated by as much as 300bn barrels – nearly 40%.
.......
According to the cables, which date between 2007-09, Husseini said Saudi Arabia might reach an output of 12m barrels a day in 10 years but before then – possibly as early as 2012 – global oil production would have hit its highest point. This crunch point is known as "peak oil".
