How dumb does this guy have to be? It was online, not even face to face, and when some "model" asks about classified information, doesn't he get suspicious? And all this for what?! A few online sex chats. I dont know how this guy even qualified for the air force.
Lack of concern for national interest is a critical eligibility criteria to be selected into the IAF.

IAF is like the Rahul Gandhi of the Indian defense establishment : rich kid who doesn't give two hoots about the nation and is far removed from reality. They spend half of their career lobbying for European fighter jets, and the rest half cursing DRDO for not making them a hypersonic plane that flies under water. When time permits, they share secret information with 'models'.

Check the responses of the IAF guy :

Israel loses warplane under Syrian fire, accuses Iran of drone infiltration

(CNN)An Israeli F-16 fighter jet crashed Saturday in northern Israel after coming under "massive anti-aircraft fire" from Syrian forces, according to the Israeli army.

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/02/10/middleeast/israel-military-jet-crash/index.html

Looks like the Israelis have gotten over-confident over Syria and have relaxed caution. This should be a wake up call to them.

And the Syrians, with Iranian and Russian (Syrian air defense is already networked with Russian AD in Syria) help, on the other hand looks like they have finally learned how to adopt to Israeli tactics. It looks like they set up an ambush against the Israelis.

Interestingly, the Iranian UAV used as bait has some uncanny resemblance to Lockheed's Sentinel UAV that crashed in Iran.

Pakis had last year selected T-129 over the chini Z-10s.
We should make US veto against the sale of T-129 to Pakistan. T-129 has an American engine.
We need to raise the issue of Pakistan using TOW missiles to target Indian positions along LoC, and then we can demand US support to stop all indirect American military sales to Pak.

Edit: Wait, I got a better idea. Let the Porkies complete the purchase. Once all is done, then get US to stop supply of the engines.

Apart from hindering them from buying the choppers itself by protesting the use of American engines through fervent lobbying, we could just let them buy the T-129s with the powerplant and when the engines would need overhaul and spare parts, simply deny them access.

USA has been doing this with the F-16s causing major heartburn to the Pakis.
They are being forced to 'jugaad' sub par spares from 3rd parties causing low sortie rates, crashes, etc.

And its gonna take far too long for Turkey to fully operationalize the turboshaft powerplant that they are planning as the Turks have little to no experience in the area and complicated American engines are nigh impossible to 'jugaad' for a country like Napakiland, effectively leaving pakis with a toothless tiger that will mount maintenance costs and simultaneously be nowhere in combat.

Here's the video of the crash:

Looks like the rate of descent was too high and the rear wheels of the chopper hit the fence structure, shearing the left rear wheel off. Glad that there is no loss of life but loss of the platform is unfortunate.

The helicopter was ok till 0:25. After that for some reason, it started losing lift.

Maybe main rotor transmission failure. I don't think pilot will even push the nose down meters away from the ground without adding power.

It had already overshot the landing area before its tail hit the ground.
