Afghanistan warns of hot pursuit inside Pakistan

Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Office (CEO) has warned Pakistan that if it fails to dismantle terrorist sanctuaries, Afghanistan, with international help, will directly hit militant hideouts on the other side of the Durand Line.

In an interview, CEO Cultural Advisor Sayed Aqa Hussain Fazel Sancharaki said that the Afghan National Unity Government (NUG)’s stance was clear towards neighboring countries, especially Pakistan.

“We often told Pakistan to demonstrate sincerity in fighting against terrorism otherwise Afghan Security Forces are capable of eliminating militants’ sanctuaries inside and outside the country. Afghan security forces would go and eliminate terrorists that posed a threat to our national security,” he said, adding that Afghanistan and the international community knew about terrorist training centers and hideouts.

According to him, the Afghan government wanted Pakistan to bring the Afghan Taliban to the peace talks table and to stop supporting them in their war against Afghanistan.

Afghanistan has continually emphasised its hope for friendly relations between the two countries within the framework of national interests, but it considers the fight against terrorism a common task for all countries in the region, Sancharaki said.

After the recent bloody attacks in Kabul and insurgent activities in other provinces, relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan soured considerably, leading the NUG leaders to take a firmer stance against Pakistan, he added.

@Neo @Zarvan @Raja.pakistani : Comments please since all of neighbors(India,Afg,Iran,China et al) are sick and tired of Pakis being the terrorists. AFG has now openly told to do hot pursue which they have done earlier inside Pakistan covertly.Pakis are reduced to this now that even AFG can threaten it OFFICIALLY.

Only people who get buried in foreign lands are Pakistanis. Indian army has buried thousands of Pakistani Punjabi terrorist in last 20 odd years. http://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/let-recruits-drawn-from-middle-class/article1-1037819.aspx

Last time it was Afghan solider Esa Khan who sent 6 six Pakistani terrorist back to hell in one go and they all got buried in unmarked graves somewhere in Kabul.

May, I remind you that your beloved country was SEATO alliance member in 1965, which of those countries did come to your help? Now you are counting on China and Iran, I can give you in writing neither China nor Iran will send their men to your help. They know the real face of Pakistan. Both the countries have their own strategic and commercial interest in Afghanistan. When Afghanistan gives you ultimatum than they are doing it with the support of USA and her allies. I have said in the past that once they engage your Army on their border than the show of strength will start. I hope it starts sooner than later. Your Generals are asking for it and they will lick their wounds for decades after the dust settles. I am not going to humiliate your ego more than what I have done.

Chest thumping has brought you where your country is at the present time. It has been reduced to take order from Beijing.

Pakistan has policy of Non state actors, they have their doctrines to use armed militants for strategic purpose.
Also from 1980's Pakistani ISI dominated Afghanistan and influence of Pakistan will be there but Economically strong Afghanistan can deal with Pakistan's designs.

It is the seeking of Parity with India that makes these guys to go to any extent, these guys seriously see themselves as the decedents of Mughals and as the people responsible for establishing Muslim rule in India !

It is from Late 1970's Afghanistan decline began because of Jihad and Soviet invasions. Afghans never recovered from that, Afghans are proud people and they know their history.

India needs to support afghan in this financially and thru weapon supplies. Afghan are ready to dismantle Pakistan.
What, if three border fronts are India, Afghanistan and Iran are used to engage them at the same time? I am confident that this must have crossed the minds of Pakistan Generals therefore they are more likely to continue with old tactics of using Taliban and so called non state actors.

If Pakistan continues on its path of self destruction than Afghanistan will use this opportunity with the logistic support from USA to do deliver as per their warning. The question arises should India also follow Afghanistan with a warning of their own. How will PA respond to pending engagement on two borders? Let us wait and see if Afghanistan delivers on their threat, if and when that happens the ball will be in Pakistan's court to act either passively or aggressively which will lead to turmoil inside Pakistan if they tolerate and do nothing against Afghanistan's aggressive move.

In my opinion the period between October to December of this year might bring some changes in the politics of the the Pakistan.

The chance of Pakistan taking aggressive action are remote due to the following reasons in my post.

It went down the drain due to the arrogance of Pakistan's Generals which is a plus for Afghanistan. If Ghani delivers on his ultimatum than it will be Pakistan's fault and we will have to wait for counter action from PA.
