LSP are now for experiment and display for potential customers. Will not be in active duty unless desperately needed.

What are the equipment in LSP? Do they have radar, EW, SPJ? Or are they empty planes?

Some LSP do have it, and some don't. LSP used for system integration and testing of various packages like EW Suite, SPJ, IFR and AESA, Guns. If a new system need to be tested with a aircraft they'll do it on LSP's.
I feel once Tejas reaches FOC milestone, they should upgrade all LSPs and PVs to FOC level. LSPs could be used to increase squadron strength during wartime.

SP is the Serial Production variant for Tejas MK1 & ISP variants are used for various testing and certification purposes.
Purpose of 45th sq flying dagger is to build tactics for the Tejas.
Every aircraft in the IAF goes through the same process but here we have the advantage of tweaking Tejas as required because it is indigenous.

Wind tunnel tests on carrying two bombs in tandem on the mid wing pylon. >>

"max" bomb load configurations being carried by the LCAs!

* 10 x 250kg bombs (2,500kg) -> 2 each on mid and inner wing pylons plus 2 on centreline
* 6 x 450kg/1000lb bombs (2,700kg) -> 1 each on mid wing pylons; 2 each on inner wing pylons
* 24 x 100kg bombs (2,400kg) -> 3 each on mid wing pylons; 6 each on inner wing pylons and centreline

This is quite old photo from official source, probably from late 90s to mid 2000s ..

The recent updates about mid wing pylon which indicated by Indranil could be about this ..

It has been done before, can be done again if user wants it.

It's a animated image, not a actual one.

Mid-Wing drop tank is under development/testing.
