Aam Admi Party taking a leaf out of Congress vote bank politics has taken up Batla House encounter as a fake. Prashant Bhushan, in his capacity as lawyer for NGO Act Now For Harmony and Democracy (ANHAD), represented the accused.

yes, same NGO Anhad, floated by Shabnam Hashmi.

these guys seem to be anarchist/marxist type going by their activities so far.

they are also trying to get support of trade unions.

That won't happen, ask @sob , whom gonna he vote in next assembly election. AAP likely cut into BJP's vote. Btw, BJP's delhi unit isn't much impressive.

Yes, true, Delhi BJP unit is uninspiring.

AAP strategy seems to be to replace BJP as second largest party in Delhi and then take it from their - that's the game they seem to be playing.

They name 12 `fake` encounters in their documents - all in Gujarat. This is a dog whistle to the secular constituency in Delhi slums - mostly illegal BDs and migrants from UP-Bihar. They are also actively canvassing among rikshawallas and lower income groups currently. They anyways have some middle class support on their anti-corruption plank. So, smart strategy I think.

BJP better watch out - unless they get their act together and put up some credible leaders, Delhi is going to go out of their hands soon !

AAP is going to be Congress ver 2.0, i.e. socialism + minority appeasement.

    @VIP and @parijataka

AAP is at this moment concentrating in the slums and with Auto rickshaw drivers/owners. This has been the traditional vote bank of the Congress. BJP in Delhi has always got the Business votes and a section of the middle class. They fare badly in the two extreme ends-- slum & JJ cluster and the elite South Delhi wallahs.

So at this moment the Congress is feeling the pinch with a large number of Autos carrying image of Ms.Dixit with the word Baimaan /बईमान written prominently. Let us see how it pans out.

Regarding my vote definitely not to the Congress.

    Well done AAP :frusty:

If Congress is the role model you aspire to model yourself on, you have just lost yet another voter. You have failed yourself big-time, exactly when it was the most opportune moment to stand up, get counted & start mattering in the larger scheme of things.

Looks like AAP is destined to become a non-starter. With such communal gestures, they have already alienated substantial section of Purvaanchal-ites in Delhi (& this migrant constituency today is the biggest in Delhi, much bigger than Muslims, Jat/Gurjars combine or Punjabis/Sikhs, etc.)

One more political party gone to the dogs (an idiom). Here Dogs = communal politics; and not Muslims, or some leftist liberals will start giving me lectures.

NGOs , IMO 90% of them are to make money or to carry forward the agenda who pays them.

Politicians with our so called support misuse rather abuse all the good things of democracy big time.

We need Big Change, don't know when this will happen, atleast not in near future.

    Hi,
Before making uninformed comments about Kejrival, please watch the reason for which he wrote a seperate letter for muslims.

    youtube.com/watch?v=-Kf-pQyAAYc&feature=youtu.be

And regarding anarchy, today it's better to face anarchy then live in status quo.
    Regards,

What Horse shit are you talking about @parijataka ? Are you profiteering from BJP ? Or are you this cynical ? Or is Hindu Nationalism your be all and end all the Indian state should go to hell ?

    Excellent Questions raised by Kejriwal

    1. Congress has used Muslims as votebank - Yes
    2. Muslims are one of the most backward community in India - Yes
    3. Muslims have terror cases fabricated against them - Yes
    4. Muslims feel victimised - Yes
    5. Congress has failed Muslims - Yes

(Being a "Hindu" you will not understand the anguish of a minority being implicated in false cases or when the state guns after you merely for being muslim, ask any member from Punjab about the horror stories from 90s)
