CPEC has undeniable economic and strategic importance for Pakistan and China our brother. It has been correctly termed as a game-changer for Pakistan because it will link China brother with markets in Central Asia and South Asia. Presently China is some 13,000 Km from Persian Gulf with a long shipping time of about 45 days.
It is a mistake to think Chinese will access to anything beyond Pakistan with CPEC . USA will make absolutely sure of this . Chinese already have access to
Central Asia. To think Chinese will have access to anything beyond Pakistan is wishful thinking.
There are many other nations that do not love Chinese as much as pak.

Pakistan has an extensive and a large diplomatic network across the world.
Large Network? LOL, it's nothing against our one.
I guess you are a little confused, but it is OK if you are, since India has increased ties with the America as new friends. So, Russia tends to focus towards us. :biggrin2:
You just repeated my point.
CPEC will shrink this distance to merely 2500 Km (80% reduction). The shipping time will reduce to 10 days (78% reduction). Bulk of China’s trade is through the narrow sea channel of the Strait of Malacca. Top security analysts are of the opinion that in the event of a future war in Asia, Your new friend United States’ Navy can block the Strait of Malacca which will suffocate our China’s brother trade route. So, we are already aware of this fact. CPEC, besides providing an alternate route, will reduce the shipping time, from China to Europe, from 45 days to 10 days. Such a link will vastly cut the 12,000km route that Middle East oil supplies takes to reach Chinese ports. Apart from shortening the distance for the Chinese brothers exports and imports it will enhance the trade volume in the whole region. Bravo :biggrin2:
LOL, I revealed you how you are being fooled but you started calling them brothers.
My question is that why China connected itself with Gwadar port only, why didn't interconnected pakistan with an internal road network to benefit more?:D

Mate, the question you are trying to ask, is already answered there in the thread of mine regarding our Golden Economic Growth CPEC Project. So, my suggestion would be read it twice or try to reveal it yourself. :biggrin2:
:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:
I didn't only read only but researched analyzed further and explained in my post no.1206815 that for whom this project is actually golden. So, don't replay the rhetoric.
Anyway, you are calling Chinese your brothers. So, DFI had and has a lot of your brothers in history, I wanna see them laughing on watching your loyalty for PRC.:biggrin2:
Enjoy a funny thread to know that how DFI works.:D

China brother, the second largest economy and is increasingly playing an important and influential role in the global economy. Yet China remains a developing country (its per capita income is still a fraction of that in advanced countries). But, no problem as, it would be rich developed nation, soon in year or a two.
Check per capita income and tell me where it stands among developed countries.
Chineses are a cheap manufacturer they had the rise now fall coming.

Where did you learn mathematics?
It's GDP (PPP) per capita stands around $15000 and can reach $20-22000 at best till 2020. For being a high income economy, $30000 per capita GDP is today needed but when China will achieve it in 2030, developed countries would be even higher, so standard of per capita income would be high. China needs at least two decades to achieve the tag of a developed nation.

For India, our per capita income growth is even higher than China and nearly double of pak.:biggrin2:
In 80s, our GDP per capita was half of pakistan and toady we lead with 23% (India: $6599, Pak:$5000) further gap is enlarging and India projects a per capita income of $9800 for 2020 compared to Pak's $6600. So, gap not only becomes 40%, but India comes nearer to China.
Further from growth projections (India has made it's GDP per capita to grow faster than Pakistan, every single year after 1991 and getting even more pace.:devious:),
India can have double GDP per capita of pak and half of China.
Further, we can achieve 70% of GDP per capita of China in 30 years if growth goes on.:
For example, if China gets a per capita income of $45000, India will have between $30-35000 (which will classify India not as a developed country but middle income economy, same as that of Malaysia and Croatia today, China may have respect as same as that of countries having HDI between 0.800 and 0.850 and between 0.750 and 0.800 for India).
Meanwhile, pakistan has projection for just half of ours.:peace:

For several reasons, our brother China will almost certainly hold its new spot at the top of the global economic table. Our brother China, is now the world's second-biggest economy, shows the nearest equivalent country. For example, Guangdong's GDP (at market exchange rates) is almost as big as Indonesia's, the output of both Jiangsu and Shandong exceeds Switzerland's. Some provinces may exaggerate their output: the sum of their reported GDPs is 10% higher than the national total. Guangdong exports as much as South Korea, Jiangsu as much as Taiwan. Shanghai's GDP per person is as high as Saudi Arabia's (at purchasing-power parity), though still well below that in China's special administrative regions, Hong Kong and Macau, these figures use the same PPP conversion rate for the whole of our brother China. Bravo :biggrin2:

Even for India, we are going be third largest economy in 10 years. Further, our undocumented economy is said to be 25% (will be documenting it by 2020 with a cashless driver) and will further be comparable to your "BROTHER" China's economy in mid of century.:biggrin2:
Stop cheering for brothers and do something yourself. There's not anyone brother of other country. Everyone serves own interests.
GDP Growth Rate in Pakistan is expected to be 4.50 percent by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. In the long-term, the Pakistan GDP Growth Rate is projected to trend around 2.80 percent in 2020. Bravo :biggrin2:
Divide your population growth, your GDP per capita growth will turn out to be our half.:D
While India’s growth has not been as strong as China’s over the past two decades. :biggrin2:
But Pakistan's own growth has never been as strong as India's.
For China,
Chinese had liberalized their economy in 1978 but India did much later in 1991. Obviously, they had a head start and their growth pace was brighter than India in recent decades.

And now India is in that stage, even better with more reforms.
Chinese took advantage of their policies, we will be benefited by ours.

Care about pakistan, because less 5% growth is dangerous for small economies with a high population growth rate of 1.5%.:taunt:

Trying to compare a $ 10.4 trillion with our brother Chinese economy’s 6.9 percent (estimated) growth with a Indian economy is no match, and never would be in future:biggrin2:. As, dangerous situation for India is itself, where at the rupee’s current value of Rs 67.43 to the US dollar, indias GDP figure of Rs 1,35,76,086 crore translates to a dollar GDP of just $2.01 trillion. A decline in the rupee will wipe that all values out again. A bigger cause for concern is the declining share of exports to GDP. It is down from over 25 percent two years ago to just under 20 percent. India’s fortunes are less linked to global growth than before. So, we would handle our situation don't worry think of yours, because it's declining. :taunt:
Don't worry about us, worry about urself, if 2.5 trillion is just, than what about 250 billion.

China's growth is declining as well, our one is inclining.
Funny thing is that you are calling China your brother again and again meanwhile Chinese members may be laughing at your back on DFI.
:pound:
Ever you seen Indians calling any country brother?
and never would be in future:biggrin2:.
LOL, before Chinese economy's liberalization, India had either same or bigger economy, we sustained a growth for 20 years for doubling the gap between paki and Indian economy. And we will further catch up with China as well.
Admit or not, on you.
You want to confirm, stay on the forum for 30 years.:biggrin2:
We will put your bloody communist masters right. Further we already overtaken your Chinese brothers in FDI as world's largest FDI recipient.
:first:

LOL, decline in Ruppee. It declined only last year.
This year Q1, we added surplus for first time stabilizing Ruppee. As per RBI, Ruppee is going to start appreciation in less than 9 years given declining imports.
Our imports from China were down by 7.5% this quarter alone.
And India's GDP is $2.3 trillions, not 2.
Yes, we earlier had ruppee declining but even then, you can see our growth pace in last 20 years, even after declining ruppee.
Because Indian growth is overkill against declining ruppee, easily absorbed rupee fall, you can estimate our growth pace from here now.
Go through main Indian economy thread for reference about the results bearing from new reforms.
Rupee is not an issue anymore.:D
So, we would handle our situation don't worry think of yours, because it's declining. :taunt:
You will handle?:taunt2:
Your one is declining even faster.
When gap between our imports is being depleted to cut down deficit and getting surplus, pakistani surplus changed into deficit last year.
So, it will be funny to see the condition of pakistani ruppee in upcoming years. Cuz neither Indian Ruppee will fall much plus, our growth has remained too high over past years, enough to absorb fall of currency.

But they are not naive enough to think that we will not be bothered when they work out exercises with our enemy
Of course, they must have factored in the fact that we will be bothered, but they calculated that their interests were better served by taking the calculated risk of offending India and going ahead with the exercise. After all, even we didn't accede completely to their demands on Crimea and although we didn't go the whole hog in opposing them, we did stop short of accepting Russia's position completely, plus there's the issue of weapon sales going to US instead of Russia.

India telling Russia to amend their position on Pakistan will be equivalent to Russia telling us to reverse our position on South China Sea, or to stop buying arms from the US (after all, Russia sent their ships in SCS for China, and we sent our ships against China, so we already disagree there). We can't veto every country's relations with Pakistan because our leverages aren't that strong. If we had bought Russian equipment, then we would have had better say on the matter. On one end we want to buy French jets without getting any political concessions out of the French, we want to by American weapons when they still antagonize us. We scale down weapons purchases form Russia and we expect a lot out of them in terms of political considerations.

If US can have relations with Pakistan (and the US is our biggest foe), then what worse could come out of Russia having relations? compared to the US, I feel more comfortable having Russia in the equation. There is a possibility of some sort of mediation, moderation and influence which Russia will bring to the table, due to it being closely tied to the fate of the region, as opposed to the US.

In fact, there is space for us to play it to our advantage. If Pakistan goes in Russian sphere of influence, US will have lost its foothold in Asia as Iran, China and Russia are already anti-US. This will increase India's value by default. All we have to do is play the bargaining right, and blackmail the US "if you need India on your side, you need to accede to our demands otherwise even we join the China-Russia-Pakistan-India coalition against western interests". Also, earlier US was the ONLY one who was dealing with Pakistan, this caused a 'single vendor' like situation where Pakistan had to take whatever alms the US threw and so the US could get its way for very less cash. Now that Pakistan has a bargaining chip called 'Russia', they will negotiate hard with the US for the same resources which they used to provide till now, for almost free.

Until now, the low cost and high gains made the US very fond of Pakistan. All in all, Russian involvement in Pakistan will make US involvement very costly and diminish the strategic returns. They will have to shell out more and more money to get less and less concessions out of Pakistan. In a way, Pakistan will be removed from the dark spell of western powers and the region as a whole (afg, pak, rus, china, iran, india) will be back to solving its problems on its own without letting a foreign power take advantage of the power struggle within the individual nations. Pakistan is already sitting in the lap of China, now if it sits on the lap of Russia, it is US which should be worried more than India. In away, the US will be more welcoming to Indian plans of hurting Pakistan as a punishment if Pakistan becomes disobedient to them.

Accepting the situation is the best way to deal with this Russian blackmail, that way, we show Russia that they cannot make India budge on any issue just by playing the 'Pakistan card'. We should welcome them and hope they have a good stay. If we start resisting it, even Russia will start thinking that they can use it to blackmail us.
