    Pakistan's Maritime Security Agency arrested 48 Indian fishermen & seized 8 boats.

    KARACHI: Pakistan Maritime Security Agency apprehended 48 Indian fishermen along with eight boats for illegally fishing in Pakistani waters on Friday.

    The arrested Indian fishermen were handed over to Docks police in Karachi for further legal action.
    Commander Naeem of MSA told PPI that the Indian fishermen were arrested last night and brought to Karachi today.

    The fishermen from neighboring country are often apprehended as they violate intrude into Pakistani waters near Indus Delta for fishing.

    A spokesman of MSA told APP here Friday that the Agency took action against Indian fishermen late on Thursday night.

    He said the fishermen were interrogated and later handed over to the Docks police.

    You would think they would learn, if only Sri Lanka would enforce its fishery protection.

    When as many as 21 boats are seized it is more than GPS, it is greed. The hundreds of illegal fishing off the Sri Lankan coast know very well where they are.

    ^^^^How can you say its greed!!!! pakis are known to tress-pass into Indian waters and take away Indian fishermen for aka terror paki prisoner swapping!!!!

    Those folks could not possibly be the same. We are talking about fishermen from 2 different regions separated by 1000s of kilometres!
