it will be funy if china comes out with a law that people trying to commit suicide will be shot dead or will get life imprisonment.

The fact is China doesn't have such a law, I don't see how funny that is.

And the truely funny thing is there exists an Indian law that penalizes a person who unsuccessfully commits a suicide. If my memory serves, it is Indian penal code section 309.
