buddy,first you should know that nobody drive the 0.1million Tibeten overseas ,they were tricked by Dalai and his brothers, dalai is a ordinary man ,and man may make mistakes.
If you are not a new member here,you will see the Tibeten girl's post , her words make people horrible,full of murderous look ,how can god tell Tibeten do so?And it is not hard to know Tibeten can do the horrible things to hans and other ethnics,such as 314.

That Uighur lady is in US does that mean US is interfering in China. Both the Uighur lady and Dalai Lama have same status (asylum in the face of massive state oppression).
I admit that India has no locus standi in Xinjiang and Tibet, these were not our places. Only people that have locus standi there are Uighurs and Tibetans and they are either not in a position to do anything or just too confused. But remember a world that can take the loss of Tibet to Chinese can sell out anything if it gets them out of the way of chinese even of course India. The covert actions if any taken by India relating to Tibet were actuated by Chinese interference in these areas. These areas dont belong to China either.

Indians are no position to start a war even for AC, at the moment, for the simple reason that coventional superiority is with Chipak combine (in my view they really are one). Though the title of the thread is confusing but we should remember China calls Tawang, by the name of South Tibet and hence there claim to claim a locus standi is artificially created. One at a time we could have taken any front, Chipaks conventional superiority not withstanding. Respected Admirals views notwithstanding. Even the covert war can be handled, infact it can be used to our own benefit (every crisis presents an opportunity) But Two front war is a different ball game. To avoid loosing like 62 we should strengthen our non-conventional abilities and actually use Democracy to our advantage (Navy Chief i respectfully submit may not have the ideas about this).

In fact we should avoid war at the moment and bolster our defence structure. Navy chief has propogated only his own view and seems like most India do agree to this view. But then if future could be predicted by past or even the present then we should have put a librarian on the Navy chiefs position, with all due respect.

Umm do you think only US or western world has respect towards the Dalai Lama for being who he is? I doubt not! If the indian government doesn't feel the same way as rest of the world does, neither pundit nehru nor today's indian government will still let His Holiness The Dalai Lama to run his government in exile for 50 years. Ray Langdarma never had son and therefor, he was the last royal lineage ruler of Tibet after he got assassinate for good. And that was during the prehistoric. Atisha came to Tibet only after many centuries at the golden times of Tibet. About Tibet being part of Bengal that's another very interesting subject. Though biologically we the (south western region of tibetan people/ Utsang/central tibet) share same blood/race with not just bengali but also with other indian royal lineages but geographically Tibet is never part of India ofcourse; Yet India did took some of our tibetan lands like Kalimpong and etc on the foothills of himalayas in west bengal. But our tibetan central government has decided to let it go in early 1940s shimla conference. But that's past so its cool. If that's what's mean to be let it be. I careless about politics anyways, but that will not change each and every single tibetan people's devotion towards HH Dalai Lama from the bottom of our heart. 1. Chinese "armed police" is not ordinary cops.

chinese "armed police" are armed and trained better than most armies in the world. they are armed with heavy weapons like tanks,armor carriers ,cannons and missiles.

China has 600,000 " armed police" and they are enough to deal with domestic troubles

2. the excercise is test the rapid deployment capacity of PLA.
so,it is not important how many devisions of PLA is to be redeployed.
the key is how soon A division of PLA will finish such a long-range redeployment.

if China can assure that PLA's troops will be redeployed much more faster and quickly than India troops, it is unnecessary to deploy too many PLA in Tibet in peaceful time.

And that is why the PLA is so much headaches and heartaches. Instead of demanding their people step up, they patch the system with the ranks who can make the decisions. Thus, you have Captains commanding platoons, LCols commanding companies and SrCols (Brigadier-General equivlent) commanding Battalion Battle Groups and have such a laughable command as an Admiral commanding a 3 ship "fleet" though they have since learned to let a SrCapt (Commodore equivlent) to assume command of a now 3 ship task force.

However, this becomes a problem in 5 years. Those Captains/LCols/SrCols have not spent enough time in their proper echelon to be promoted. A Captain commanding a platoon, no matter how well he does it is not going to be promoted to Maj at the battalion level. A LCol well experienced at commanding companies will never be given a Regt slot and a SrCol commanding a Battalion Battle Group can kiss his generals stars goodbye.

Not everything is hunky dory with the PLA modernization and a lot of it ain't got nothing to do with technology but that they have not thought the whole thing through ... not that they have the experience doing so.

What's worst, these are their rockets. Those Captains, LCols, and SrCols who can take real time info and decide proper actions ... and their career paths are being stopped by the very flash formations the PLA is championning.

And those who do get promoted? Well, sir, crap floats.

In India, the Dalai Lama is most revered. Of that there is no doubt.

It is just that the Indian govt is wimpish and cowardly.

The Bengali script is more like the Tibetan script or vice versa. So is the Assamese script.
