After successful launch, time to brief the PM about the successful test and how it happen, including the impact, so that he will get the idea if things get difficult and he has to launch the option then what will happen.
you can see a smile in his face
looks like Shivshankar Menon is India's NSA was also present at the meeting. at the background.
^^ Typical cultural stereotypes perpetuated by westerners.
container launch A5 missile wont be much different then, Topol M Russia missile. It will eject out of container and then its motor will kick in, just like in this video. Specially at frame 2.38 onwards, hope our rail mobile launcher is like this only.
can the agni-5 be modified to form a anti-ship ballistic missile to deter carrier based task forces operating in indian ocean region like the one done by china in the form of df-21.withterminal guidance like space based satellites in formation, uav's,over the horizon radars like swordfish i am sure drdo should be able to master this technology as the chinese are launching aircraft carrier based task forces and we do not have any weapon to counter us carrier's if need arise
Anti ship missile at ranges greater than 5000 Km ?? Hmmm
against AC Carrier group by Agni V ICBM??
You mean to say with MIRVs ??
you mean to say destroy seven ships of the carrier in one go at ranges greater than 5000 Km.
with nuclear warhead ?
yah could be conventional but does any one use conventional warhead at that range?
Before the missiles land at the target you would have had multiple nuclear hits on your mainland and your cities from subs lurking close by !
Cheers.
