The Influence of Islam in the World Military

how much is religion a part of the modern day military?
why is it necessary?
why do countries plan religious armies in their doctrine?
how has islam helped the military of the said nations over time?

No religion has a defined military ideology. Hence, this is setting the wrong precedent. Every modern professional military has to keep religion out of military as far as possible. Religion misleads the troops, gives them false motivation that jingoism can't achieve, and endangers their lives further. A responsible military encourages its troops to survive first, die fighting second, and fight dying last.

I always vouch for the Armed forces being Apolitical sinces its the Duty of the Military to guard the Borders and to be seculer nothing says it better than what
