Brahmin become P.M. for most of the time........55+ years out 65 years because Most of the front-leaders were Brahmin in early days. But that is not the situation today. MMS and Modi are 2 examples. Even Nitish, Mayawati, Mulayam are not Brahmin.

Karnataka - Sadanand Gowda - OBC
    M.P. - Shivraj Singh - OBC
Bihar - Sushi Kr. - OBC
Jharkhand - Arjun Munda - ST
    H.P. - Prem Kr. Dhumal - SC
Chattisgarh - Raman Singh - Thakur
    Gujarat - Modi - OBC
Uttrakhand - Khanduri - Brahmin (But because 50% population of Uttrakhand is upper cast. Since, Cong CM candidate is Thakur (Rawat). So BJP candidate is Brahmin)

If in future BJP comes in power in Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa, Maharashtra, U.P. - It will be Non-Brahmin.

Most secular folks here have a blind hatred for RSS and BJP . No amount of logical arguement will have any effect. You can heal the blind through medication, but those who keep their eyes forcefully shut, cannot be healed, because they do not want to see.

Making cheap accusation that RSS is projecting only Marathi Chitpavan Brahmin is absurd logic. I see very less Brahmin, Although i never thought of cast. It just because of IDIOT, i tried to find it out.

If that is true, Why RSS appointed Modi as CM of Gujarat ? He had to leave his RSS state branch and become CM. BJP appoints any candidate to CM post.

Indeed, BJP is the only party where anyone can become CM. Uma Bharati was not politician but she become CM. Even his secretary Hussain become Minister in ABV Government. Indeed, It's RSS who worked intensively to break cast-system. One can do some research to know. Media is sold to Congress, So they highlight for obvious reason.

I just searched and found 1 Muslim site said the same thing what IDIOT said. I rest my case on this topic. It's very old tactics by group of Congressi, Muslims, Christians, Atheist and RSS-hater to attack RSS as they are fearful.

There is one common allegation that RSS and it's sister organisation are related to Hindu/Indic religion. What's wrong in that ?? People have right to chose the party, if it's related with their religion. Everyone does.

It is not as if other democracies don’t have right-wing or religion-based (or religion-influenced) parties. George Bush’s Republican party had strong backing from born-again Christians, neo-cons and evangelicals. Many European countries have Christian Democratic parties, especially in Italy and Germany. Malaysia has a Muslim-Malay party at the head of the coalition. In our own country, we have parties that are overtly religious like the Muslim League, IUDF, the MIM and the Kerala Congress – not to speak of caste-based parties. RPI is for Ambedkar Buddhism, Akali Dal is for Sikh

In short, the BJP can be a Hindu-based party and yet be secular

RSS activist killed in Mullassery (Kerala) clash

A 24-year-old youth was stabbed to death in a political clash allegedly between the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) workers at Mullassery near here on Friday.

RSS Sakha Karyavahak Sharon, son of Karumathil Mohan, who was seriously injured in the clash between the two political parties on Thursday night, succumbed to his injuries at private hospital here on Friday morning.

The death triggered panic and tension in Mullassery and surrounding areas. The CPI(M) office at Poovathur was attacked.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for a 12-hour hartal in Manaloor Assembly constituency to protest against the murder.

The shops and business establishments were closed down and the bus services were suspended after the flash hartal was announced in the area. The hartal has put large number of students, employees and other commuters in great hardship.

The political clashes since 2005 had claimed four lives in Mullassery. A large number of police force has been deployed in the area to avoid untoward incidents.

The Hindu : States / Kerala : RSS activist killed in Mullassery clash

In Kerala, it's tussle between Communist & RSS/BJP. Majority of Muslims + Christians vote to Congress + it's allies ML+KC. Majority of Hindus vote to Left. Rise of BJP will damage Left. last time, BJP got 5% vote and Left lost the state with mere 3 seats. It will take another decade to make some inroads and reach 10%-15% votes. RSS started it's activity since few years back

The communal polarisation of Kerala's voters between Congress & Left

RSS Asks Govt Address External, Internal Threats

    FEB 05, 2012

Warning that the nation's sovereignty was at stake due to external and internal threats, the RSS today asked the government to put in place a security infrastructure and intelligence system to address all issues in a coordinated manner.

"Desh mein suraksha ka sankat paida ho haya...Sanskar se lekar desh ki seema tak videshi guspaith ho raha hai (there is a threat to the national security due to foreign invasion from our culture to borders), RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat told reporters here.

"There is a serious threat to the national border from China and Pakistan, even as terrorism, naxalism and economic issues like the FDI in retail sector pose other challenges. So much so that our national sovereignty is endangered," he said.

"The government should put in place security infrastructure and intelligence system to sternly deal with external threats to the national borders from China and Pakistan and internal threats from terrosists and naxalites," Bhagwat said.

The RSS leader warned that if institutions failed to deliver the goods, then people may resort to revolution to decide their destiny.

Bhagwat also rapped the Centre for opening up retail sector for FDI despite stiff opposition from society.

He took a swipe at Gandhian leader Anna Hazare for his stoic silence in accepting the fact that the Sangh workers took active part in the latter's nationwide agitation against corruption.

"It is a fact that the Sangh workers in individual capacity did play an active role in the anti-corruption crusade by the civil society headed by Hazare...It baffles me as to why the former did not acknowledge the fact," he said.

However, Bhagwat admitted that the RSS was not consulted by Hazare on crusade against corruption though the Sangh shared a common view with the civil society on eradication of the scourge.

On the perception that BJP chief Nitin Gadkari was foisted by the Sangh parivar as part of a clean-up operation following the party's debacle in 2009 parliamentary polls, he clarified it was the BJP leaders who had chosen Gadkari to replace Rajnath Singh and the Sangh had played the role of a facilitator.

The RSS chief also attacked critics trying to bring disrepute to the outfit by linking it with the emergence of the alleged 'Hindu terror network' following arrest of some Hindu leaders in connection with the Samjhauta Express and Malegaon blasts and said terrorism has no colour, creed or religion.

"There is no such thing as Hindu militants....Prove the charges first before giving communal colour to terror cases accused," he said.

"Terrorism per se has no colour," Bhagwat said, adding there was no mantra of terrorism in the Sangh's principle of 'Hinduism'.

RSS' Magic - Kashmiri Muslims call for revoking article 370, taking back PoK and CAK

    80216534d95512646b3dc9887a214192 475x240

For over eight decades, RSS has been working for empowering India with a nationalist agenda despite all the calumny against it. A fresh example of the same has appeared with reference to Kashmir. Some would know that Indresh Kumar, a senior RSS functionary, who’s been with the RSS since 1959, had founded Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an organisation of nationalist Muslims with a motive to bring Muslims in national mainstream. Indresh Kumar, who graduated with highest honours from Punjab Engineering College in Mechanical Engineering, didn’t take up a job to serve the nation. MRM has been the result of his tireless efforts and commitment towards the nation. However, his efforts and accomplishments were never reported by the mainstream media. If at all they were reported, that was in a demeaning manner. MRM had in the past collected the signatures of a million muslims to oppose cow-slaughter. But terrified of the growing influence of an RSS functionary among Muslims, Congress led government tried to frame him in the Mecca Mosque blast case and used the CBI for the same. This all notwithstanding, MRM’s activities went on and on, and now, the results are showing bright and beautiful.

Scrap Article 370, ensure employment to Kashmiri youths, retrieve areas forcefully occupied by Pakistan and China in Kashmir”. These are not the demands voiced by Hindu organizations or it's leaders. These demands were raised publically and in unison by the Muslims of India on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Jantar-Mantar in New Delhi.

Loss-Win is part of politics. BJP is secondary, RSS is primary. Political party dies, Ideology never. BJP can lose all seats, still RSS will remain and that what matters.

Yet, BJP is in party of opposition and 2nd largest part of India, last time i checked.

Ruling 10 states. Opposition in 7 states.

BJP is hardly secular. their actions in Gujarat, Orissa, and Karnataka, speak for themsleves. You cannot unleash the BD on minoroties in every state, sooner or later it will bite back as it did in 1993 Bomb blasts, Akshardham terror attack, and the numerous terror attacks in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi.

Well, Again it's allegation. But I know, you will always say that and to prove your point you will post few links from Paid media.

No one is unleashing minorities. Last time, Modi made sure that 150 corporates from Muslim community wins the election even when it was not needed.

No offence sir, But i failed to understand your thinking. Seriously. Ray sir always take neutral stand. You are highly biased with one side of coin. I don't want to reply you because you are defence professional. But everyday you come online and search thread realated with RSS and contradict and bash. Why you fail to say anything when it's related with Congress ?? I can understand now....Figures!

30 Million Bangladeshi Living in India illegally due to Vote Bank Politics : Court

Congress goons killed Sikhs in 84 and it's same RSS who were involved in protection. But as usual, you are saying same thing with your support towards congress biased view. Digvijay Singh will be happy to see your post.

So, RSS is creating fear? I will not reply to such statement. It's your personal thought and not trying also to change anyone's opinion. Support Congress so that BJP won't come in power again in centre. Fair Enough ? Or go and complain and fight cases in court as per law.
