That is what I don't like, going after the person rather than the argument. Before laughing off the man, one ought to understand what he's saying. If you don't agree, debunk his arguments or put forth your own. But taunting the man behind the argument shouldn't become the fashion.
Tomorrow someone might even say that humans first came down from Moon. How does it matter?
As long as he's providing arguments in support, I can atleast listen and see for myself?
Nothing becomes stupid by rejection of Supreme Court. Reason of rejection would be of importance. Supreme Court may as well tow the line of High Court and dismiss it without giving a proper trial because of obvious "national monument", "tourism", "revenue", "huge controversy" etc. factors. Just like the High Court did. They didn't say "Your wrong". They said "We can't try it in this court"

Who said anything here about tearing anything apart? Its just about finding the truth and calling a spade a spade. Don't you think we should do that about our history and monuments as important as Taj Mahal.
If it is proven in court or otherwise that TJ was a temple. Best would be to say "Previously a palace having a temple. Take over by X, modifed in Y manner and used for burying his relatives including Z".
If letting the truth come out hurts us, then problem is in us and not with the truth.
I'd accept without grudges even if it turns out to be otherwise (on question of temple/burial tomb).
@blueblood - OT question if you don't mind. Do you believe Supreme Court is immune to making mistakes? Just asking
All of this will make sense if someone files a PIL in SC. Until then we can always presume what SC will say or not.
Then which court can this be tried in.
Definitely not but if one can't trust the apex body of this country, then what or whom should we trust.

Don't know We better ask the judge and the petitioner
Allow me. Try Supreme Court as your answer.
I think many historical issues are being buried out of a fear of general mayhem being let loose on the section of society accused of the wrongdoing. In the case of Ram Janmabhoomi, the issue was allowed to fester until the demolition of the mosque. Congress party generally has been known to have had leaders who drifted along happily until the next election with few exceptions like Sardar Patel, Indira Gandhi [only good thing she did was her leadership in 1971, other than that her actions were designed more to futher her grip over reins of power] and PV Narasimha Rao. I am mentioning Congress party as they have been in power for almost all the time at center and states.
visit Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh - Chennai for more photos that speak the sewa activity.
If RSS wants to increase their manpower they should spread the rumour in AP that chaddi boys get into IITs due to the discipline... gultis with their craze for IITs [seen as a route to greener pastures in USA] will send their kids to enroll immidiately...
But getting overseas does not change the behaviour of the aforementioned people or does it?
