i'm hoping to start a thread where we can list myths concerning everything indian and debunk them. if the discussion get's too big here, we can move the discussion to a different thread and we can post the link to that thread where it will be discussed. here we'll just write "debunked" if not true and proved with proofs.

Is it true that nsc permanent seat was given to india and nehru gave it to china? are there any proofs?

I dont thinks so.

My Take is Nehru with his intention of building up relation with China had high hopes as a new fostering friendship and expected China will represent the cause for the NAM nations and developing nations.

To the most India supported Chinese membership in UNSC as relations were excepted in the positive side.

Sunder ji first of all please try to write the complete words instead of short cut, so that other dont find it much difficult to read and understand

UN cannot be considered as a power bloc,it is national stage meeting place for the nations of the world and UNSC as a military wings. India's prospective membership during that time is highly questionable though.

It's a myth. We never were given any seat.
