BJP not only got political mileage out of the drama, but a moral boost too. I guess BJP would try that on 15th August too. Scams, inflation, corruption - Congress is having it's worst phase after the emergency. Even Azim Premji alongwith some other industry stalwarts have blasted the GoI for it's inefficiency. However, how about BJP hoisting our National Flag in PoK?

Ernesto, you're right. With all these corruption I too don't think Congress is coming to power next time around, but I'd also not dismiss vote bank politics of our esteemed political parties either. Maybe Congress needs to do a cameo, putting up an Indian Flag in a captured SL Navy vessel.

A small successful war would be beneficial to congress and could get it another term. I say sri lanka sounds about right!

I am sure no one will be interested in this and it must be closed like its predecessor. But ducking an uncomfortable question is not the answer and correct approach to deal with it .
