WASHINGTON: Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Chief Lt. General Rizwan Akhtar led a high-level delegation to the US where issues involving bilateral cooperation over counterterrorism efforts will be mooted, SAMAA reported on Wednesday.

Country flag
My guess:
1) to highlight their contribution in bringing Afghan Taliban to the discussion table, also let the Americans know that China also wants to be part of the negotiations.
2) to prepare the narrative for the next fiscal's aid money
3) to try and get US to make a public statement that india is aiding TTP in Bakiland.
4) update status of Zarb e azb to the bosses.
