False rhetoric ?? Lets try these,

1. FC 1 is a 4 th gen fighter.
2. FC 1 is manufactured in house
3. FC 1 is competitive with other aircraft's.
4. FC 1 has more than 1.0 thrust-to-weight ratio in a clean configuration
5. FC 1 has Pakistani parts, like Russian engine; U.S., Chinese, French, and South-African ordnance, Chinese radar.
6. FC 1 was a hit at the Paris Air Show.
7. FC 1 has huge prospects.

......

If fanboys knew more than designers, sad reality it was made by China, for Which Pakistan Payed through its nose, and as the data showed. It is inferior to Mig 21 Bisons which are being phased out.

Here is what the designers have to say :

"Yang Wei, said that the aircraft cannot compete with other aircraft on the market "

http://www.wantchinatimes.com/news-subclass-cnt.aspx?id=20150101000014&cid=1101 ( http://www.webcitation.org/6VHWpaYlV )

Teal Group analyst Richard Aboulafia "The JF-17 is an obsolete and cheap aircraft, ideal for the Pakistan market, which values numbers over actual combat effectiveness."

https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/in-focus-china-awaits-fighter-export-breakthrough-373313/

........

The cost imperative is that a latest F-16C/D would cost about $24 million (2015 Dollar value). and a block one FC 1 costs $25 million and $28 million for Block 2 (2013 Dollar value). How is that exactly cheap ? For that $28m price tag you get --- no AESA radar, ability to engage only two targets simultaneously, a sub-1.0 thrust-to-weight ratio in a clean configuration.... what a bargain!
.......

FC 1 is selling like hot cakes... Nigeria is buying 3 birds. and All other countries have rejected on Indian Pressure. Blimey !

"The case of Sri Lanka is the latest curious case of a prospective JF-17 buyer backing down. As Franz-Stefan Gady reported recently, Colombo was expected to sign a multi-million dollar deal to purchas 8 to 12 units of the JF-17 during Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s state visit there last week. Despite a range of announced deals, a JF-17 purchase was not announced during Sharif’s time in Colombo.

Shortly after Sharif’s visit, Sri Lanka’s minister of defense, Karunasena Hettiarachchi, denied that the JF-17 was even discussed. “The matter did not even come up for discussion during the talks [with the Pakistani government],” he said, according to The Colombo Gazette. "

It barely exceeds Bisons in terms of capabilities a point defense fighter Armed with bvr RRV AE.

Lankans will never buy it,may be Chinese can persuade Myanmar since only failed nations buys 75% of total weapon export of China.

In any case,Indian troops will do Bhangra on Chinese Toys like we did in the Past, since these are too inferior compared with originals.

Another Chinese toy T 59 (a poor copy) used as a dance floor by Sikhs.

Recently Nigerian ex-Air Chief was arrested for corruption. They should investigate if some officials were bribed by Pakistan with dollars and Hira Mandi tawayafs to secure the order for 3 JF17s.

http://saharareporters.com/2016/01/...osu-detained-efcc-over-arms-procurement-fraud

Nigeria's former Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Adesola Amosu, has been arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of massive fraud that characterized arms procurement during his tenure.

An EFCC source told SaharaReporters that the retired air marshal is being investigated amongst other acts for reportedly authorizing the purchase of two helicopters without functional rotors. He added that the former top military officer later compelled two air force officers to fly in one of the helicopters after the craft was equipped with a rotor that was taken from an unserviceable Russian-made helicopter gunship. The air force officers died in a crash near Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, because the rotors fitted on their chopper was too heavy.

The source claimed that EFCC investigators had so far traced nine luxury homes to Mr. Amosu. The retired officer’s suspected homes include an imposing property in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) of Ikeja in Lagos State. Our source stated that the Ikeja property is estimated at more than N350 million.

President Muhammadu Buhari recently asked the EFCC to launch a broad investigation of serving and retired military officers suspected of looting funds budgeted for the procurement of weapons and other tools for the Nigerian military to support the war against Islamist insurgents in the country’s northeast.

One EFCC source revealed that agents of the anti-corruption agency were working diligently on numerous investigations involving other top officers who may have milked the defense budget.

They have no money man. That is why they had to buy such third class weapon. Real 4G fighters are quite better and so expensive.
They are jumping over IAF sIowdown and their numbers over a junk fighter. Which only can maintain their numvers against world's 4th largest Air Force. Obviously, it's not a win equation. They will be more pathetic and will end up losing their remaining money and resources. :D

Prime Minister of Pakistan and Emir of Qatar to Witness the Scintillating Aerial Display of PAF JF-17 Thunder At Doha

An impressive airshow put up by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) at the old Doha International Airport yesterday was witnessed by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

A JF-17 Thunder, a multi-role light combat aircraft indigenously produced in Pakistan in co-operation with China, and a Super Mushshak trainer jet presented aerial stunts at the show where pilots demonstrated the two aircraft’s advanced capabilities.

After completing its range of aerobatics, the JF-17 Thunder in its sign-off salute impressed the audience with a spectacular vertical climb, a straight pull-up followed by aileron rolls pumping flares in its trail.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, the Chief of Air Staff, PAF, briefed HE Sheikh Abdullah and Nawaz Sharif on the salient features and capabilities of the aircraft.

Nawaz Sharif arrived in Doha yesterday on an official two-day visit on the invitation of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister of Qatar.

“Pakistan highly values its relations with Qatar. We are benefiting from each other’s experiences in various fields including defence. Pakistan cherishes the level of co-operation between the two countries and desires to further enhance defence collaboration by offering indigenous aviation products,” the Pakistan prime minister said.

The JF-17 Thunder is a light-weight, single-engine, multi-role aircraft which can be used for ground attack and air intercept. The JF-17 can deploy a variety of weapons including air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles. The aircraft is equipped with cutting edge avionics and weaponry.

“It was during our last government that development of the JF-17 aircraft was initiated. In less than a decade it has made a mark in fighter stream around the world. Today, there are four PAF Squadrons already operational,” the Pakistani premier said, adding that due to its multi role, affordability and capability; many air forces in the world are seriously looking for its induction.

“This joint venture of JF-17 Thunder, in collaboration with our Chinese friends, is no doubt a landmark achievement and a source of pride for the Pakistani nation.”

He said Pakistan is also introducing to the ‘Qatari brothers,’ the Super Mushshak trainer aircraft being used back home for decades. Almost all PAF pilots who have proved their excellence and participated in operations against terrorist hideouts, had initiated their training on this aircraft.

Super Mushaak is being manufactured completely in Pakistan and many friendly countries are operating it. Pakistan also provided training to pilots, engineers and technicians of the countries who have acquired this aircraft.

“I am confident that close defence co-operation will further strengthen our strong brotherly relations,” Sharif added.

Besides a large number of Qatari armed forces personnel, the show was witnessed by HE Chief of General Staff Qatar, Major General Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem, and other high ranking military officers from Qatar and officials of Pakistan Embassy in Doha.

I guess they have also signed or to sign a deal with Qatar for supply of oil and gas. Whatever.
By the way,
@amoy brother, can you tell me what is JF-17X? A paki have been dancing in front of me for 2 years in comment section of YouTube videos that how it will shoot down Indian future AMCA and FGFA with alien technology.
Does something like this exists and is that as superior as that fanboy claims, brother? Or project existed in past and killed by FC-31.
