With the introduction of EMALs on carriers this iconic shot (steam engulfed jet readying to be catapulted) is bound to disappear. I guess Hollywood cannot anymore shoot Topgun-like movie with the hotshot pilot on Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses appearing from behind the curtain of steam...
