The National Cavalry and Armor Museum site is preatty interesting to see. It seems that after relocation from Fort Knox to Fort Benning, situation is even better and in future, more and more vehicles from museum collection, will be refurbished and shown to the public.

I visited that museum when it was at Fort Knox, shortly after the earth cooled if I remember right. I was at the Armor OCS at the time, which I failed to complete, but I learned to drive an M113 there.

You remember little things. There was a display of WWII Japanese weapons from the Pacific campaigns, and I learned you would not want to fire a "Japanese knee mortar" from your knee! GI's who did had broken legs as a result.
