A Canadian female liberal wrote a lot of letters to the Canadian government, complaining about the treatment of captive insurgents (terrorists) being held in Afghanistan National Correctional System facilities. She demanded a response to her letter. She received back the following reply:

Thank you for your recent letter expressing your profound concern of treatment of the Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorists captured by Canadian Forces, who were subsequently transferred to the Afghanistan Government and are currently being held by Afghan officials in Afghanistan National Correctional System facilities.

Our administration takes these matters seriously and your opinions were heard loud and clear here in Ottawa . You will be pleased to learn, thanks to the concerns of citizens like yourself, we are creating a new department here at the Department of National Defense, to be called 'Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers' program, or L.A.R.K. for short.
In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided, on a trial basis, to divert several terrorists and place them in homes of concerned citizens such as yourself, around the country, under those citizens personal care. Your personal detainee has been selected and is scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence in Toronto next Monday.

Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud is your detainee, and is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint. A powerful explosion outside the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp, where the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials probing Bardhaman blast case are staying, damaged a bus shelter in Kolkata's Salt Lake on Monday. However, no one was reported injured. The probing agency suspects that the blast was carried out in retaliation to the recent arrest of Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) suspects in connection with the Bardhaman blast on October 2. Two suspected top members of the module, Sheikh Rahmatullah and Amjad Sheikh, have so far been arrested along with five others. "Three of them are presently in our custody," said a senior official. The NIA camp office is located inside the CRPF campus in Sector 5 of Salt Lake, close to the Border Security Force campus. Preliminary reports suggested that the incident took place around 7-30 p.m. "A sentry posted at the CRPF campus gate saw a man hurling an object from a moving vehicle. The object hit the nearby bus shelter, after which there was an explosion. While initial reports indicate that no one was injured, the bus shelter was badly damaged. It appears to be a crude but power bomb," said the official, adding that the local police have launched a hunt for the suspect.

NIA Will Share Woman Ultras' Footage with Dhaka

KOLKATA: The NIA will hand over to Dhaka, a copy of the seized video footage of terror modules conducting arms training,which also has women ultras producing explosives since several of the females depicted in it originally hail from Bangladesh.And the footage landed in the NIA's hands during the probe into the Burdwan blast, which was allegedly carried out by the Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JuMB).

The sleuths believe that the video recording was done at some madrasas in West Bengal. The jihadi song to motivate Muslim youths was downloaded from a website of Ansarullah Bangla Team.

An NIA official said, "The JuMB followed the Islamic State(IS) procedures to train their women brigade."

In one of the "terror madrasas" in Murshidabad district, JuMB terrorist Sajid and his wife Fatima were in-charge of imparting training to over 50 young women.

The couple have been on the run since the blast at Khagragarh in Burdwan district on October 2. The NIA had announced a reward of `10 lakh for information on Sajid, who was nabbed by Bidhannagar City Police.

The NIA team will share the footage and information retrieved from the laptop with the National Security Intelligence of Bangladesh in Dhaka.

The probe agency suspects that women played a a significant role within the JuMB, which established jihadi terror modules all over West Bengal. The young women jihadists were entrusted with the task of planning and implementing the entire operation of recruiting, indoctrinating, arms training, manufacture of explosives and even kill people bare handed.

Some of them were also brain washed and trained to carry out suicide terror attacks. The main women terrorists involved in the operation were Fatima, wife of Yusuf Sheikh; Ayesha; two wives of 'hathkata' Nasirullah -- Shamina and Manjula; Talha Sheikh's wife Moyna; Shakib's wife Saira; slain JuMB terrorist Shakil Ahmed's wife Raziya and injured terrorist Abdul Hakim's wife Alima. They also said around 25 young women, 12 of them Bangladeshis, had undergone the terror training course and became experts in explosives.

Myanmar National Arrested in Hyderabad in Burdwan Blast Case

HYDERABAD: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Myanmar national here in West Bengal's Burdwan blast case. Kaleed alias Khalid Mohammed, belonging to Rohingiya solidarity organization, was having links with Bangladesh based terrorist groups. The 28-year-old is said to be an expert in explosives.
The NIA said he was arrested here Monday afternoon. Kaleed was allegedly running terror camps in areas bordering Bangladesh and Myanmar. "He was found in possession of incriminating videos of training materials, literature relating to poisons, IED making bomb making, explosives and Jihadi literature including ISIS," said a NIA statement. The central agency said the accused admitted to have undergone training by Tehreek-e- Azadi Arkan with trainers from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Khaleed was residing in Hyderabad with fake identity documents. "He is found to be without valid travel documents." Two suspected members of Bangaldesh's Jamaat-ul- Mujahideen died in a blast that occurred in a house Oct 2 in Khagragarh area of Burdwan district. The NIA, which is probing the blast, has arrested few accused in connection with the incident.

The family members of Khalid claimed that their son was innocent and was in no way connected with terrorist activities. "My son is a peace-loving person. He was never called by the police at any point of time in Myanmar or Hyderabad," Khalid's mother Hameeda Hanam said. She said her son was teaching Arabic and English at a school in Hafeezbabanagar. "My son is pious and is regular to the prayers. In Myanmar, we were facing threat and persecution and so we took refuge in India," she said.

I fail to understand why this statement is given - My son is pious and is regular to the prayers.- , not only in India, but elsewhere to state that a person is not involved in terrorism.

How in the name of hell is saying your prayers and acting pious immunising one from undertaken a horrendous crime?

I am sure many crooks are equally addicted to praying, be he from any religion.

The Bangladesh police on Sunday claimed to have arrested the wife of Bardhaman blast suspect, Sheikh Rahmatullah alias Sajid. Sajid was earlier arrested on November 8 from Kolkata. The arrest of Fatema Begum, chief of the women's wing of the Jamaat-ul-Mujahedin Bangladesh (JMB), may help unearth the network of Bangladeshi militants in India. Explosives, bomb-making materials and jihadi books were seized by the police from her. Three other militant suspects were arrested with her from Dhaka's Sadarghat area, the police said. JMB operatives trained militants in India and Ms Fatema allegedly confessed that she had trained at least 25 women, including five Bangladeshis, in the Shimulia area of Kolkata. Ms Fatema was a training coordinator of the JMB and was with her husband during the Oct. 2 blast in Bardhaman, West Bengal. Two suspected JMB members were killed in the explosion. Her name was mentioned by India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) during its meetings with Bangladesh agencies. Joint Police Commissioner Monirul Islam said Ms Fatema allegedly confessed that they were storing explosives to launch attacks as per the directives of their chiefs in Bangladesh and India.

Burdwan blast accused Rejaul Karim arrested

KOLKATA: National Investigation Agency has arrested Burdwan blast accused Rejaul Karim from Jharkhand, Times Now reported on Saturday. A Kolkata court had on January 9 remanded three accused in the Burdwan blast case to NIA custody for five days on a prayer by it for further interrogation. Chief Judge of Bankshall Court Md Mumtaz Khan remanded the three accused — Sahanur Alam, Rafiqul Islam and Safiqul Islam — to NIA custody till January 13. All the three were in NIA custody and the agency sought their further custody in order to question them for further lead on others involved in the case in which international jihadi links have been revealed.
A total of 11 persons, some of whom are Bangladeshi citizens, have so far been arrested in connection with the case. An accidental blast at Burdwan town on October two that killed two persons revealed an IED manufacturing unit of alleged Bangladeshi terror outfit JMB. Though the state agencies were initially investigating the case, the Centre handed over the investigation to NIA. (With inputs from agencies.)
