INS Vikramaditya (Adm Gorshkov) aircraft carrier

INS Vikramaditya can carry 34 Aircrafts - 21 Mig-29K and 13 Heli's at max but can only accommodate 12 Mig-29K and 5 (Ka-28 + Ka-31) in it's hanger.

wow its still too smoky.........

Mig-29k needs 190m to take off at MTOW. So, it can take off from carriers for strike runs at full fuel. I think this is the only aircraft in the world that can do a short take off at MTOW.

Is this normal phenomenon that ACs release that much smoke?

With this much smoke enemies may not require radars to locate Vikramaditya.

INS Vikramaditya runs on diesel engines and when started they tend to give smoke just like a diesel locomotive..

In Navy ( Western ) Ship is considered as She ( Exception Germans ) but it is possible we don't either..

Does this really worth the prize.? I mean look at US carriers (not comparing the ships) they carry 60+ combats jets so that they can be a floating airbase to project power? What would Vikramadiththya be doing for India? Blockade Pakistani naval bases?

Will it be effective as US carriers?

Vikramaditya targets smaller regional nations for domination! It is in no way a power projector, as we have other programs for that ! Its main objective would be to bomb small irritants to oblivion!
