MDL believes that, since Project 15-B is a follow on of the 15-A, the design and planning period will be less than 1½ years. Once the design is finalised, the navy wants the first destroyer to roll out within four years, with the others completed at one-year intervals. By that ambitious timeline, if the order is placed on MDL by end-2009, the first 15-B destroyer would be commissioned in mid-2015.hope they plan in advance for a project 15c-desi version of aegis class destroyers.anyways when are the p-15b going to be inducted?

L&T make universal missile launchersDrdo or any other Private Firm should try to build a universal Vls capable of launching AShMs, LACMs, SAMs... In this way we can accomodate more missiles on a single ship and probably can keep the same tonnage and design that we have now.
Some of the launcher in L&T's range of products are:
Universal Missile Launcher : a multi-mode launcher
Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher: a high-positioning-accuracy platform with programmable option for Single / Salvo firing
Anti-Tank Guided-Missile Carrier
Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile Launcher
The Gas Turbine engines are coming from Ukraine..
