Number of Indian AFV´s?

    I am trying to get the number and types currently in us by the Indian Army but frankly can´t wrap my mind around it as it seems to be a bewildering number of types, sub types and planned variations...
    So if some one can point me towards a non wiki site, post a table or PM me I would be most grateful

    Exactly what type of AFV are you looking for, i.e. tanks, armoured cars, artillery?????? Please clarify

    It is well-known that India is highly deficient in SPGs and SPAAGs, if that helps. I think our only SPG is some weird Vijayanta-based weapon.

    I remember seeing some Indian APC gazing in east Pakistan after liberation of Bangladesh maybe they were BMP-2
