    if i may say so that its a clear example of inter rivalry Airforce pissed off that BSF is acquiring its own transport plane...

    Dunno how true it could be, but inter services rivalry has been a constant worry. Heck, Pakistan lost a lot of its Navy in '71 because of that.

    The service chiefs always get together during budget time and fight it out on budget allocation. Damn we really need a tri-services chief, some one who can shut em all up. Imagine a Lok Sabha Parliament without a speaker, but a little more benign.

    The air force want the MRCA on priority. The navy is busy with the new Nuke subs and carrier. The army with the T-90s, artillery guns and rifles. All that with the pressure to match China. So, it wouldn't be a surprise if the article is true.
