Hyderabad International Airport.

Phase I ( completed and opened for public on 23 rd March 2009.)

•A 105,300 sq.m. terminal, having the capacity to handle 12 million.
•12 contact and 30 remote stands for aircraft parking

Final Phase

•The airport will reach its full maturity in this Phase
•An additional floor area of 430,000 sq.m. will be constructed bringing the total built up area to 900,000 sq.m.
•The ultimate master plan is to cater over 40 million passengers per annum.

Features

•Runway- Length 4,260m, width 60 m, shoulder 7.5m
•Airfield Ground Lighting - CAT 1 (Both Ends)
•Cargo Capacity - 100,000 tones / year

Pictures Hyderabad International Airport

I have seen some great pictures of I.G.I International airport of Delhi which is under construction and would be considered one of the modern airports in India. T3 is world's no.3 largest terminal

Interiors look pretty awesome but exterior looks just ok. The design of outer structures is similar to the structures in 80s. South Korea's Icheon Airport is one of the most beautiful and modern airports in the world.

Bombay's international airport will be more beautiful than I.G.I. airport. I wonder what made Delhi political leaders choose for simple design of I.G.I's outer structures.

Love the thread I remember last time I visited, my return flight was delayed by almost 3 hours & the waiting area was so dusty because of the works :p Are all of the international airports being modernized?
