Narendra Modi pays tribute to BR Ambedkar; says Congress insulted architect of the Indian constitution | Latest News & Updates at Daily News & Analysis

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Monday paid tribute to Chief architect of the Indian constitution Dr.BR Ambedkar on his 123rd birth anniversary, and said that nobody had insulted the latter as much as the Congress by taking credit of his work.

"Today is the Diwali of the dalits, the poor, and the exploited. Today, I would like to pay tribute to the great Dr. Ambedkar. On this day, Dr. Abmedkar took birth and relieved a lot of exploited and poor people. He has played a major role behind the formation of the Indian constitution which is priceless," said Modi.

"He has given us all kinds of rights through the constitution, but it is unfortunate that nowadays the Congress is insulting him every other day. They keep saying that they have given us a lot of rights but it is Ambedkar alone who gave us these rights not anyone else. Nobody has insulted him as much as the Congress," he added.

Just as an aside,

Babasaheb was an Army child.

His father was Sub. Maj. Ramji Maloji Sakpal.

In the July 1941, B. R. Ambedkar was appointed to the Defence Advisory Committee of the Viceroy's Executive Council. He used this appointment to exert pressure within the military establishment for a Mahar regiment.

Ambedkar's surname is actually Sakpal. . His family was of Marathi background from the town of Ambavade (Mandangad taluka) in Ratnagiri district of modern-day Maharashtra.

Ambedkar was given his last name by his Brahmin schoolteacher with that name, who was "impressed by his intellect and personal qualities"; Ambedkar opposed the Quit India movement; married a Brahmin doctor on April 15, 1948 in New Delhi.

No he obviously wasn't a brahmin & we oppose him due to his pratilom nonsense.

Hindus are confused about their identity so w/e

Whoever remains in few decades will fight, rest are too stupid to see through abrahamic nonsense.

There only 35crore Hindus now if you really think about it. We'll have 15 by 2040 & that's enough..
