Three Killed in Eucador's Second HAL Dhruv Crash

Three military personals onboard HAL Dhruv of Eucador Government were killed in a crash, The President's office of the country announced. The helicopter was reportedly on election duty, but was not assigned to transport President at any time.
According to AFP report, The helicopter was flying from Guayaquil to country's capital Quito. It went down in the Chimborazo region according to military spokesperson.
Three military personal lost their lives (Lieutenant Jorge Luis Flores, Sgt. Unda Christian Benanides and Capt. Hector Caicedo ) (RIP).
The pilot Fabian Pazos survived the crash and is currently in intensive care

India has faced no issues with the Dhruvs. Either the choppers are not being maintained properly or they have used spurious spares or their training of pilots is suspect or human error. Not to say that there cannot be any glitch in the bird itself but given the record of Dhruv in India, it may not be the fault of the machine

last time when the accident happened in ecuador involving dhruv it was said to be pilot error. This time too i am praying to be the same, but only the problem is the parties who use this news to tarnish our country's image would not think the same......

The crash occurred after a long time , last time a crash occurred is during 2009.

I think this event do not downgrade HAL and dhruvs. India is using dhruvs and even Equador is using them for 5 years.

Must be weather or pilot error or poor maintenance.

Yup HAL cant be downgraded.. Indian armed forces are not having any problem with Dhruvs. Neither are other operators...
