We must heat up Tibet now and ensure that our sleeper cells in Tibet blow off few bridges close to Indian border in Tibet to send chinese a message of what is in store for them.

Japan,Vietnam,Phillipines, East turkistan, many other ASEAN countries but
these come to mind for a start.

Tibet is too far from their causes. It is not in their national interests to be taking that position. It will only complicate their conflicts with China (they simply have nothing to gain from such exercise). Besides, India must do more to bring these countries to its orbit. At the moment it is not doing much.

The rail line is of more strategic value.

Raising now (again) the Tibet issue may irritate China but it will not result in them abandoning their latest incursions. The Chinese Foreign Ministry will just issue a statement condemning the statements of India but nothing more. Why? Because Tibet is in the steel grip of China and if India really want to make a difference there (that will scare China) then it (India) must either directly or indirectly destabilise Tibet. It is actions not mere declarations that will move China.
That's the problem with current reactions. Its about now. The answer has to be long term well thought out strategy that keeps China on its toes and not think about stepping on Indian toes again and again.

India has defense pacts with Japan and USA and unofficial pacts with other nations.

SIr the problem is much closer at hand

We need to keep any CONFLICT as localised as possible

At least India should NOT step on the ESCALATION LADDER

Just evict these 30 buggers ; disarm them or arrest them

Tibet historically has been Indian territory no matter what past spineless governments
have accepted it needs to be brought back.

The chinese must be given a very clear message that India is neither japan, Phillipines, Taiwan nor Vietnam and they are trying to bite what they can chew. IA has drawn up a very elaborate plan to teach these guys a lesson all across LAC. Its the GOI which now needs to take the final call. Best option IMO is to take all these intruders as POW. Surround them and disarm them and hold them captive. Raise the bar and increase the cost.

Let China spread and intensify the conflict

We must be prepared for ESCALATION DOMINANCE [all along the LAC ] ie if the enemy escalates
give him a fitting reply

You know what China is doing? It's bullying and bluffing its way. If India is cowed or if it acts feebly then China will get what it wants. The best way to counter bullies is to push back hard. And if the bully continues bullying you then bloody his nose. If you show the slightest hint of hesitation then you will be bullied more.

China does not have supply lines to do anything significant or to have a long drawn out war.

Sorry bro. Tibet has one of the lowest population densities in the world and most unhospitable terrain. The bright side of giving chinese a bloody nose will be that India will emerge as the only power capable of stopping Dragon in this part of the world which will provide a major boost to Indian commerce and relationship with other ASEAN countries. We have far far more to gain by teaching chinese a lesson than by keeping quite. This is the best opportunity we have to take lead in Asia-Pacific region as a force to reckon with by showing to the world that we do not treat china as leader of Asia. rest of Asia will rally behind us and china will get isolated. In this conflict china will lose its biggest market for its products and we Indians can take over those markets from China.

It's time to summon the spirit of Mrs. Tatcher than Mr. Chamberlaine.

Raising the Tibet issue now at the height of Chinese trespassing in Ladakh will only divert the attention of the World away from the main issue. What India needs right now is a clarity of its cause so that it can get diplomatic support in the current crisis.

The strategy has to be two fold. One address the current issue in a befitting manner and also start to think of future.
