No. India doesnt act like this. Some years back a US Military Aircraft was approaching Indian Airspace. Indian ATC didnt have any info on this flight, so they transferred the case to IAF. IAF contacted the plane first and asked them to turn around as they dont have authorisation. US pilots blabbered about having some necessity and they needed to go through this route only. Within seconds, IAF MiG 29 were scrambled to escort the plane. But unlike you guys, we didnt perform the Air Show for US. We sent the info to Washington and they ordered the aircraft to follow Indian Instructions. MiGs escorted the plane to Mumbai Airport. There they were detained for 28 hrs,we questioned them, put a helty Airspace violation fine and sent the plane back in Air. There are other effective steps before threatening. I cant provide you the link because I cannot remember the year, but it was recent.

Irrespective of Immaturity which is a known and seen from such events in the waters and in the air previously. Who knows next will be space on a military satellite. The most fascinating aspect I find is that P-8 does not have ejections seats and if the planes had happen to touch at such a height The likelihood of the PRC pilot surviving would be in much greater probabilties compared to the p8 crew. the PRC jet has ejection seat and also the sight and initiation. (One can even paraphrase it to be aggressive).

The risk absolutely is on the Americans if a little touch happens. Flying such a mission really is beyond reasonable reason. Sure one can say there can the blow off on the image of PRC Air Force and that might be unbearable but it's happen before. It serves no purpose to do such "stunts" and it happened before and again starts. Will this make the Americans start escorting. Waste of fuel.

Does PRC do this to the Taiwanese, South Koreans and Japanese

Correction- The plane was detained for 18 hrs, not 28 hrs . Sorry for the mistake

Those are the US plane entered in Chinese air space.

For US plane outside of Chinese air space the only thing we can do is make them feel "unsafe" or "unprofessional".
