This is a very lousy answer. Actually India cannot do anything.Leave alone building a skyscraper, this country cannot even provide basic healthcare and education. Do you even realize the implications of widening gap between India and China ?

If china chooses to rein in on India, there is absolutely nothing India can do other than praying to god.[/Qu have overestimate urs china kid..urs economy actually driven by export..overcease market shrink so does urs economy reign in india preety eutopean dream live in urs dream dude
hehehe I am an Indian, nationalist but not blind nationalist that i will igrone all the ills.

Indeed Chinese economy is driven by export but they are making all efforts to make their economy a consumption driven one.Today China has a healthy reserve of 4 trillion $ in case of any worst case scenario.

China spends close to 188 billion $ on it's military and India spends about 270 billion $ on running the entire country. So in a few years time China's military spending would be higher than the entire annual budget of India. What will you do then ?

Today China has an economy of 9 trillion dollars as compared to just about 1.8 trillion $ for India. This is the most shameful fact considering about only 20 years ago both were in the same level.

And because of India's consistent inability to solve it's massive socio economic issues, because of which most of the finances and resources are devoted towards that ,resulting in nothing being left for strengthening industrial base required for militarization or building infrastructure or Research and Development.

This is not the case with China which is not dependent on any foriegn country for it's military needs.

China is certainly more advanced than India in many respects. This does not necessarily mean China is 'better than' or 'beats' India, because the only competition should be one of how to provide social welfare to the broad mass of citizens in each country, and in that, both countries are sorely lacking.

Quantitative comparisons aside, though, China does differ from India in one important regard: it thinks about different problems and worries about different threats than India. Put bluntly, China is no longer in the weight class of a developing country. It has to worry about securing global energy interests stretching from Angola to Sudan to Iran to the South China Sea; it has to worry about opening up other countries to its own investors, rather than simply asking them to accept its exports; it has attracted the (rather unwelcome, but still flattering) attention of the world's sole superpower, and has to consider the butterfly effect of its own positions on global issues which, ten years ago, would have seemed completely irrelevant to it and which it would have been unable to affect (Ukraine, global warming, internet regulation, bitcoin regulation, how many board seats it gets at the IMF, etc.)

Well the statistics indeed paint a gloomy picture for us.However I would prefer democracy over a totalitarian regime any day.One must not forget that a comparison between China and India is not fair.China was never colonized in its entirety(some parts were like Hong Kong etc). The colonization of India has set us back a lot and we still have to carry that burden of colonization. When the British left India they left it in a decaying state.I think that in 60 years of independence we have achieved a lot though we still have a few problems. If we get another 60 years of better governance we can catch up or even better China. If you compare our performance with formerly colonized states(not pseudo colonies like Australia,Canada etc) then we are certainly better than the rest.
South Korea, Taiwan, Hongkong, Singapore have all been colonized in its entirety.

Yes, you can also brag that Indians don't copy pharmacy from the west. XDDDDD
When you are using all modern stuff, they are mostly from the west.

China does not beat India by any margin. Chinese growth is export market of a trillion dollars to the West alone. Take that out of the equation and then see China's margin. It will be negligible.

Another nonsense. Chinese pci was actually lower than indian pci in 1970s. But unfortunately chinese realised how crappy socialism is way before india and opened their markets way back. Now they are reaping the benefits of dtichig socialism and communism

But indian retatds continue to desperately hold onto socialism/communism and have made sure that indian economy fell dehind chinese economy by foue times.

Remove socialist retards and boom , India will be an advanced economy in two decades
