Ok. I do my homework - that's a refueling and supply ship, 4th of its class 903, with first and second numbered 886 & 887.

And the latest weapon trial ship for PLAN I have been suspecting, number 893 (yet got a name), had just arrived at Shanghai, for further equipments, perhaps.




893 has been quite different from its previous sisters 891 & 892, e.g. low bridge. So it's said to target testing on submarine warfare, one of PLAN keen to improve. Compared with 891 & 892:

Four shipyards are now pumping these out like hotcakes:

#1 & #2 from Hudong shipyard or #1 & #5 of total 056's

They're already modifying them yet it hasn't even been a year since the launch of the classes first ship. Comparing the first 056 with the latest:

No.6 & No. 7 (the 13th & 15th of total) 054A's Of Hudong, Shanghai

There are now two shipyards producing Yuan's, which translates to two launches per year. No clue at how many are actually planned for production. But with 22 Ming's to replace, 20 looks like a realistic number. But then what about the Qing's?
